These were a great surprise. Not only are they tasty, but they satisfy and stave off a hungry stomach. I really liked the plain ones; however, the spicy are even better. I ill buy both. I really hope you continue to have the five pound bag packaging. A cardboard box cannot uphold and provide the quality taste that your current resealable plastic bag does. I will not purchase from a cardboard box. The taste should be pure and the texture upheld, as with current packaging. I plan on sharing with friends and family. One has already ordered. Very very healthy. Very lightly salted. The spices are flavorful not hot. Perfection. Thank you for your product and for listening.

I've purchased this item close to ten times, and up until my most recent bag they were perfect. However, the one I received last month seems rancid; the taste is just off (when compared to all of the previous batches I've purchased.). I don't know if it is the oil or something else, but it's not a good taste. In addition, some of the beans are crisp on the outside but soft/mealy in the center, which they never were before. All-in-all, not good eating. I tossed the bag.

In the last review I wrote for this product and company, I was a bit unfair with the description of the beans. I had mentioned that the beans were too hard crunchy when I'd eaten only a few. As I ate more of them, I realized that the texture was the softer, crispy texture I had loved from fava beans I had eaten decades ago. Most of the beans, perhaps 90 percent or more, were just exactly the texture, flavor, and medium saltiness I craved when I ordered them. I finished that first bag in short order and just had to buy more, so I got the larger bag this time. After I finish this bag, I'll probably be back for more.

These fava beans are great. One problem I noticed is that they are a little hard to chew. While they may not break your teeth, there is a potential to cause problems because they are quite hard. The other problem I had was they are very greasy. That only makes for some inconvenience, but the taste is great.

I'd never had face beans. This was a fantastic introduction. I'd read that skins were basically indigestable, so took a leap based on reviews. I loved at first bean!!! Perfect crunch with an earthy and savory flavor. The "belt" of skin holds two halves of beans together. I find them aesthetically pleasing. Nothing but good stuff. Recommend for those seeking a different crunch!!!

Dang, I wish I hadn't bought these roasted fava beans. On top of which only the 2-lb bag was available, so I plunked down almost $25 bucks for them. Got 'em moments ago, saw the country of origin, GROANED aloud, then opened them up. Ugh. They taste like weird, stale fish oil. The size and crunch is fine, but I had just finished a bag I bought at a market in Kyrgystan over the summer and those were SPECTACULAR!!! By comparison, these roasted fava beans were gross. I didn't even bother to ask for a refund since I'd opened the bag. Chucked the entire thing in the GARBAGE. In addition to the taste, I took a gander at the saturated fat content and nearly had a heart attack: 8.8gm saturated fat out of 20gm of fat in each small serving of 3.5 oz only. YOWZA. The ingredients also contained PALM OIL - which has more saturated fat per serving than LARD, beef tallow or chicken fat. It is truly one of the least healthy forms of saturated fat, topped only by butter, cocoa butter, palm kernel oil and coconut oil. Do your heart a favor and say NO to these fava beans. You can buy other brands right at Amazon that use sunflower oil, which has one of the lowest saturated fat contents per serving.

I have ordered this brand several times. They were always "good". But !! Now they are coming from RPC with Palm oil! China & Palm oil?? Not good. They are oily- & taste Old- and not expired.... Wont buy again. Im fair and unpaid. 3 stars- Roasted and salted.

Very convenient snack to have. They are healthy and my kids (8+6) loved them. I’m I’ll def be buying again and again.
