Works good. Solved my problem

This was recommended to me! I have a lawnmower deck right angle gear drive that chewed up eight ball bearings and the outer race and the aluminum casting seat are wallowed out, The part is not available anywhere, I mean, I did find two places that had it and one was 600 bucks and one was 500 bucks and I didn’t want to spend that much money on of 15 year old lawnmower not knowing how much life is left in it so I thought I just buy the bearings even though that seat in the casting is wallowed out I was recommended to use Loctite 660, I messed up and put the wrong bearing in the wrong hole and then was told if I soaked in an acetone long enough would come loose but it never did! For months! Eventually it dawned on me I could use a gear puller and I was able to get the bearing out. I honestly have no idea if this concept will end up being fruitful, little worried that the tremendous forces between the outer bearing race and the aluminum seat it’s just going to smash the Loctite but I thought I’d give this a try and see if I can get a couple more years out of this gearbox, at a gigantic Lee less expensive price than purchasing a new gearbox.

I fixed my air compresor with this product but dry very slowly, i waited for 5 days, maybe need add catalyzer.

This product works exactly as advertised. Will tighten up an otherwise loose push fit bearing. It also has the advantage of being able to be disassembled without adding heat.

Used this to fix and shower handle with worn out splines and it worked perfectly!!!

I used this compound to prevent a circular clamp from slipping on a bicycle wheel hub. For anyone interested it’s a motorized bicycle hub adapter. Previously, although I tightened the adapter very well, it kept slipping and breaking the spokes on my wheel. So I ordered this and applied a thin layer on both surfaces before I reassembled the adapter. I waited 24 hours before applying any force to the adapter. 3 weeks later and it hasn’t slipped one millimeter! A little goes a long way so even though it is a small tube it will last you a while.

It seems to be a good product, but I didn't take the time to prep everything and allow a long enough cure. I used this on a splined pulley/shaft on a lawn tractor that had worn a bit loose. I was not able to disassemble the pulley from the shaft without major disassembly of the machine, so I used spray brake cleaner to clean the splined areas well before applying. I squirted the tube into each spline until all had a good amount in them. I let cure overnight with an incandescent light bulb shining to offer some extra heat for the cure. After 24 hours it was still wet and soft, but a bit stiffer than when applied. Unfortunately I had to mow because of company coming, and the uncured product got hammered out of the splines as a result.I think if disassembled, cleaned, and baked for a few days it might work fine, but JB Weld would probably work better, and a lot cheaper.
