Gets HOT! Fails to fast.
Update: It keeps disconnecting due to overheat...lightly use this. It now gets too hot to even touch. starting to melt the plastic case. Fire Hazard! DO NOT BUY! Just to see if mine was defective, now been months since I bought this at local Microcenter, i bought 3 more just today....all get super hot. I have had a few of these USB C to Ethernet adapters, some with USB hubs in them. I picked up this Kensington adapter at a local tech store. It works fine, Supports Jumbo frames fine. It gets HOT!! IR thermometer at one spot read 220F! My previous adapters, even ones with USB hubs, never even got warm.

We have a gigabit system and for some unknown reason this would not work with it.
