Will this work on a pmx500ic/n 1/2 hp chain driven genie pro max?

I believe that is the same unit I have and they worked great, but I think they will work with any unit that has the led learning feature. Very easy to connect

How do you progam the remot(step by step).

My garage doesn’t have a “learn button”. It only has one button to push to program the controller. I tried programming the controller as soon as it arrived in the mail...didn’t work. Watched a YouTube video and figured out what I did wrong. Here are two tips: 1. Make sure you stand some distance away from the overhead door opener that’s in the ceiling of the garage (not far away, just not right up on it) and 2. Make sure your new controller has the censor facing the garage door when programming it.

Is it possible to purchase just the rubber button?

What size replacement cylindrical batter is used in the acsctg type 3 ?

I have an original Genie unit from circa 2005. It uses and A23 battery should yours not have the "lifetime" one. I THINK I have replaced twice in about 15 years. Batteries are ~$4 for 2 at Walmart.
