great
the standard to algae scapping is using stainless steel blades. these blade holding scrapper is very well constructed. best part is the blades are standard shaving blades. so they are extremely cheap to replace everytime. i previously used a plastic blade holder. that failed on me. i been using this metal one for over a year now and it still works very well. unfortunately, i had to i use it twice a month b/c my tank gets covered by algae.

Just buy it. It's amazing!
I will never use an algea scubber brush again. This razor blade idea is genius. Barley have to apply any pressure to glass to get it clean. It cleaned areas that I didn't even see algea. I was shocked at how clean my tank looks in less than a few minutes. I have recommended this to my friends with tanks.

Nice quality, missing a key component
This works well, very nice quality too. There is a glaring issue though: there is no blade cover. You need to disassemble the blade after every use or risk an ER visit next time you reach for it. I'm kind of lost on how this essential component was overlooked.

Great tank tool
These things are $30 and up at my local pet stores. Works great getting the purple algae off the glass of my salt water tank. Easily got between rock and glass that my hand can't. Long handle very sturdy and great. Highly recommend.

I love you can change the blades out on this one!! i run every thing from fresh water to a 300 marine reef tank. When we set out to do clean up, it is a job!! But this is easy to use, easy to replace blades, and saves you money.

Gets the Job Done. Better Than a Scratchy Pad!
So much better than a scratchy pad. Gets the job done! It would be great if the system came with a safety cover for the blade and maybe a little box for the razors.

Does not stay together tightly
Seems high quality at first but is made in many sections which continually come loose at the slightest handling.

Get yourself one if you have algae on the glass.
I wish I had bought one sooner! I love this thing. One of my aquariums is in front of a window, even with black out shades and such it still generates some algae build up on the glass. This little tool is quicker and easier than scrubbing with a scrub for what feels like forever.
