Delta Faucet Lahara 17 Series Dual-Function Shower Handle Valve Trim Kit, Stainless T17038-SS (Valve Not Included)

I want separate controls for water pressure and water temperature. That way I can leave the temperature setting alone and just turn the water pressure on and off. I don't have to keep searching for the water temperature I want, and I can increase or reduce the water pressure as needed. We tried one of these in our summer house and liked it so much, we replaced the shower control in our bathroom in our permanent home with this same product. It's very attractive too.

Installed this and the rough in valve housing in an old shower. Installation instructions are good ( not great). The assembly of the temperature control limiter is confusing. If installing a new valve body as well, be sure that the hole in the finished wall is big enough to fit the outer trim ring that fits OVER the rough in valve body when you later install the cartridge and trim kit. I did not and had to remove it, enlarge the hole and re-assemble. The plastic temperature lever is fine -- except it has play in it which gives it a "cheap" feel. DELTA - you can do better. I gave 5 stars since overall quality is good, it functions very well and my wife loves it.

I replaced my single faucet shower handles with dual function faucets and am very happy. The dual function is what I needed and it was very easy to replace.

This product is ok. I wanted a similar one from Moen but had to return it because my plumber said we had to had a Delta brand to work with our plumbing. Unfortunately, this Delta one leaves a lot more spots compared to the Moen branded items we have in the rest of our bathroom areas (sink faucets, shower head, etc.). Additionally, the first version of this item that was sent to us was sent in chrome, the wrong color. The company was very responsive and did turnaround and reship the correct color right away - within a couple of days. My husband installed the items and ended up having to You Tube because something was broken inside. Not sure if it was an included part or a part attached from our plumber causing the issue.

We just remodeled the master bath and put this trim kit in. We love the look and the fact that once the temp is set, we don't have to worry about it. Just turn the water on.

I installed this about a year ago. Still looks like the day I installed it. I haven't had to reset the temperature in all that time. The volume could have better control. Only about the last inch really does anything. I usually just turn it on all the way because of this lack of fine control. But, I'm using a water saving shower head anyway, so no big deal. Also, the temperature control is plastic. If you have little ones around, it may become a problem. Most grownups shouldn't have any issues.

Best thing to attach to the shower. Highly recommend this attachment. I wonder why I missed out for so long. I am glad to have it now. Note. Make sure is installed by a professional plumber. To have it working correctly.

Works OK, except the plastic water temp lever could be better, ie metal without sharp edges.
