Reference 6432CFX 4"x6" 2-Way Car Speakers - Pair

Infinity makes wonderful speakers and these 4x6 are no different. These little speakers will impress you! Just keep in mind that they are not designed to focus on deep bass notes but excellent mid bass and highs! when you tune them right you’ll be impressed with the clarity of music they produce! I’m running them on an aftermarket head unit that pushes 22 watts but with the right amp you can hit the max 45 RMS wattage they’re built to handle and that’s much louder than you think! I honestly don’t think you’ll get a better quality speaker at this price.

These really shine when paired with 4X6 Boom Mat Speaker Baffles I purchased after my initial install in the dash of a 1999 Buick LeSabre. Before baffle they sounds really good being free air into the dash you miss out on low notes. After installing the slim line baffle for my application they really came to life. Making fairly decent bass for such a small footprint the only 4x6 I’ve ever heard hit any lower was Pioneer but they only support 20watt RMS and my head unit puts out 45watt X 4 RMS so these paired perfectly. I highly recommend and the look is very elegant to look at.

These speakers hit a sweet spot that belies their small size powered properly, in my opinion as an upgrade to stock speakers with or without a small amp. Maybe a system where the amps built directly into the tuner or media player would work best. Pushing it past its rms rating is counter productive to the clarity and distinct highs these speakers spit out like needle point daggers. You'll want some bass to compliment such clarity but you'll have find it else where as these speakers don't speak bass. Mids, yeah sure but pushing any lows, not so much from these. If upgrading your stock speakers is your goal and you don't exceed their power handling capacity then I think there's plenty to be pleased about with the quality of this series of speakers. There's as close to plug and play as car speakers go.

These little workhorses are surprisingly full bodied when you get a clean 50W to them...bigger sound than what most have come to expect from 4x6's ...pretty impressive Mid-Bass too !! I have 600hz bass blockers on mine which pretty much limits them to Mid-bass & up...also protects them from any sudden low frequency blasts in the music. The tweeters are nice crisp & clean.

I put these in a Kenworth T880. Truck only has two 6x4s so hard to get the sound I’d like. They are so much crispier than factory ones and much louder just don’t have a ton of bass but that’s to be expected. I did a lot of research and was stuck on which ones to buy. Took a chance on these due to the reviews and I happy I did.

I installed a pair in the b-pillars of my 1989 Chevy K1500 single cab. They look and sound great for 4x6s. I may eventually buy another pair to replace the old front in dash speakers as well.
