Ruta Maya Organic Coffee Medium Roast 2.2 Pounds

Ruta Maya Organic Medium Roast coffee has an excellent flavor. We primarily make espresso based drinks and the taste for the price is great. It tastes as good as locally roasted coffee and is much more affordable. The roast quality is good with a true medium roast. It is sometimes hard to get coffee that is light enough, but this fits the bill. The packaging is good and we love this coffee.

Absolutely Fantastic Coffee! It's a whole bean doffee, so you'll need a grinder. I often hear coffee labels state that their coffee imparts flavor tones of things not coffee, though I can't say that I've ever noticed any of that in them. This coffee is amazing! It is mellow and really does have a hint of a floral quality that really impresses me. It is not acidic and calls for you to drink more! You will enjoy this one!

My favorite coffee! If you are looking for a flavorful medium roast organic coffee, try Ruta Maya organic medium roast whole bean coffee. I grind the beans daily and brew a 12 ounce mug using cone filter holder and a bamboo cone filter. I use two coffee scoops and boiling hot water for perfect coffee every time.

Ruta Maya coffee is an outstanding coffee. The only issue I had was the package did not specify it contained beans, not ground coffee. After I got beans, I checked the site again and it did state that beans were in the bag. I missed that. I've ordered this coffee several times and it usually states what form the coffee is in on the picture of the package. Even in stores where I buy coffee the bag states whether the coffee is ground or in beans. I'm taking off a star because it would be a hardship to someone who does not have a grinder if they ordered by referring to the package. Aside from that, I love the coffee. The reason I didn't read all the sales talk is because I am already familiar with Ruta Maya Coffee, and I knew I want to order it. But I wanted ground coffee. Luckily I do own a nice grinder. I've just stopped using it. I used to grind it a cup at a time, but my age and health make that more cumbersome than I would like. So I bit the bullet and ground up part of the beans and stored them in a good coffee container. The rest is safety sealed in the bag it came in. I do not have any other complaints about the coffee or the service. My suggestion is this: since the bag was already sealed (and the printing already done) by the time the seller got it, the title before the description could be altered to specify that beans are in the bag. My other suggestion is to buyers. If you want to buy something you are familiar with, don't go by the picture of the packaging. Read the description below the title.

I don't like bitter or dark coffees (can't stand Starbucks). The medium roast of Ruta Maya is perfect for my taste, plus it appears to be ethically sourced.
