This was a replacement for the one on my Magma grill that walked away. Seems to be a like for like replacement for my grill and fit my Cabo, no problem. It's quality OEM stuff, not cheap aftermarkety product. While the blue is nice, it does feel like a superior coating to the (none) on the original one. I didn't notice any difference in cooking as some other folks did.

When these regulators work right they are the best for a small grill on a boat. We have gone through many in the past but they are configured to work with their grills so we have to spend the extra on these regulators to make the grill work. The grill is a great grill....all stainless has been pulled into the water by an otter while it was drying out from a good cleaning and we have never had issues with the grill but the regulator is tempermental at times and will not put out alot of fuel which makes grilling a little slow at times. Have to give it good reviews because there is no option to another regulator for this brand, would purchase again because I love my grill.

This valve is great. I can get flames up the sides of the heat shield if I want to. I accidentally bought the low output valve last time. We have been miserable, with frequent blow outs and slow cooking. On the Cabo (18") grill this valve will go down to about medium heat. The packaging said it's made for 22" grills. The diagram on topof the knob is easier to read than the slow output as well, and sometimes guests couldn't figure out the old valve; this one should be great. The medium output valve must be the stock valve for the Cabo, I'm sure this high output will work better in the wind as well, bc medium blew out if the bbq was turned in certain directions vs the wind, but rarely compared to the slow output. FYI If you look at the magma valves they says precimex model 6000, which is also a $15 Mr. Heater model F273769. The orifice size is correlated to low/medium/high so you need to drill the orifice to the exact same size dependent on which you prefer (low, medium, or high) exactly. even down to the 64th to match your current/preferred orifice, or just swap out the orifice to the new valve. Amazon item = Portable Propane Table Top Regulator 1 by 20 Female Throwaway Cylinder Thread (Inlet) x Orifice (Outlet) #F273769 Next I'm going to bend and tack weld a larger stainless box similar to the valves' box but with an open bottom and mount a universal electronic ignition with a piece of fireplace door seal between the ignition and the wall inside the box facing the bbq, then mount it just behind the valve's box. They should make that upgrade kit.

Get the high output. Really makes a difference.

Product works as intended no issues. The original valve was made of better quality. Grill gets hot really fast. This was a high output valve. Next time we’ll go with a medium flow valve. I think the medium valve will give you better range with the temperature.

This is a must on the boat throw the one that comes with a magma grill away and use this one it is a game changer my grill get crazy hot and so fast and no wind is blowing this out
