Good taste. Too pricey and a little bitter
Good tasting and a little addictive. I bought it when Starbucks was giving free shipping and now they're tacking on $3 for s/h. That pushes the price up too high, so I guess I'll get it at the grocery store where it is about $7 plus tax.I like to divide these packets almost in half which amounts to about 2 teaspoons which I add to a tall glass of 1% milk leaving room to plunk in about four or five ice cubes. This seems to work for me and doesn't make it taste too bitter. I'm not a strong coffee gal, but this still gives it plenty of coffee flavor. I've followed the directions exactly before making a 16 oz. cup and divided it between me and my hubby. He thinks the strength is perfect, but I think it's too strong. He also likes his coffee black, but I like my cream and sugar.Overall, I think these packets are handy but not the best in the world. Maxwell House makes a good ice coffee. Their french vanilla flavor is very good while the Hazlenut is only okay and too powdery tasting. It is very cheap at $1.80 a box at Walmart. Possibly a little sweeter than Starbucks and you lose all that burnt, bitter taste. No offense to you Starbucks fanatics. Hey, I do love their Mocha and even succumb to paying over $3 for it at the drive through!

So good!
This is THE best. I've had other Via coffees from Starbucks that I just didn't care for but this stuff is impressive. I mix it with soy milk instead of water and it tastes almost like the iced latte I usually get at Starbucks. Only downside is the high sugar content.

Decent but pricey
I ordered several different instant coffee type items from powdered Starbucks (this item), to squirt from a can, to concentrated coffee. Of all of them, this was the most expensive per drink at over $1/beverage. This is cheaper than going into Starbucks for the real deal. The drink has a fair amount of sugar. Also, the serving sizes make it for 16 oz beverages. It would be nice if it were separated to allow making smaller drinks. The taste is good with a nice caramel flavoring. It's not as good as going into Starbucks, but more convenient and economical way to get your caffeine fix than the local coffee shop. If you're ok with needing refrigeration for the mix, check out Cool Brew® Fresh Coffee Concentrate - Mocha 1 Liter - Make Iced Coffee or Hot Coffee - Enough for 34 beverages which came out on the top of my trials.

Be Careful!
Buy this product with the upfront understanding that you may become hooked.Who knew I would love this product so much. I've tried the hot Via but was not hooked till this product. I do not like strong coffee so I mix half the tube with 12 oz water(directions say 8oz) fill my 24oz cup with ice so coffee is about an inch from the top, then top off with soy or almond milk. Yum I could have one every day. I may have to try it according to pkg directions but at any rate, I am a happy customer.

Still Looking For a Good Iced Coffee Mix
I had high hopes of finding in Starbucks VIA a nice well-rounded iced coffee mix that I could take to work and take on camping trips and so on. Sadly, though, I'm still looking. The coffee was weak once you mixed it with water, didn't have nearly enough caramel flavor, and wasn't sweet enough either...maybe, because more sugar would be needed to cover up the bitter flavor. I ended up making this, adding more sugar to it, then adding more coffee. Basically, I kept playing with it until it was drinkable. So, once you've done that--what's the point? It looks like other people found this too sweet...but I like my coffee strong and sweet, and this was neither. Maybe, it would have been better to make it without sugar and just the coffee and flavor and let you add your sweetner to taste? All I can say to this is...I'll keep going to Starbucks to BUY their iced coffees, but I won't buy their take-home powdered version.

delicious and quick!
Easy for on the go. I've been wanting to try it but it's a little pricey for instant coffee. I bought it here because there was a special so it was a good time to try it.
