Good quality. Technician charged more
Good product. It’s been almost 5 months since we got the geyser installed. It has good quality heating rods, water get heated quickly. Safety wise also it’s good because it has automatic power cut. However I feel the technician who came for installation charged us more than we expected.

No service for heating issues after the 1 year warranty! Poor service support
This is the 2nd AO Smith geyser I bought (1st one was more than a year ago). Now, I regret it. If you have a problem after their 1 year warranty, expect very poor service. I had a heating issue. Not only did they refuse to come because they said they would not cover any heating issues, but they don't even do descaling work (they were vague about this, but ended up not coming). Although an American company, they should know the water in India is harder water and needs frequent descaling. I even escalated the matter to a manager in AO Smith, and I got the same response: we do not service any heating related issues. They are not even able to replace any parts (such as the heating element, etc). Very disappointing to see such poor service support for such a famous brand. I do not recommend buying any AO Smith geysers.
