A budget insert
I've owned this insert for a little over a month now and after some experience with it I now feel as though I can pass judgement on it.First of all, I'd just like to say that Folded Space (the company behind the insert) produce some excellent inserts for a wide array of board games. Unfortunately I personally found this to be one of the weaker entries into their catalogue. To be clear from the outset, Folded Space do not conceal the fact that this product requires assembly with glue although the description provided by Amazon and/or the retailer responsible for selling this fail to disclose this information. The statement that this is made from "Plastic" is also false as Folded Space use a proprietary foam board material. Both of these points need to be addressed for all future buyers who are unfamiliar with Folded Space products and/or who are new to inserts in general. If I were to describe this insert in as few words as possible I would describe it as "a budget insert". The material itself is a solid material and on a personal note, I like the use of this material over wood due to the weight saving aspect which inserts typically generate. The insert addresses the space issues commonly found with Gloomhaven's contents but this comes at a price. Some of the storage design is blunt, for lack of a better word, as the tiles end up stored in quite a haphazard fashion. Further to this some of the trays for storing monsters can be very cramped and I personally found that I couldn't form a strong enough bond, with the recommended glue, to maintain the integrity of the trays. In the end I used clear Gorilla tape to secure the unit trays.Another potential flaw ties to how certain game components are stored which, due to the design, can lead to awkwardness in locating particular pieces when needed. The major downside to this is that it impacts the pace of the game, unless you read ahead for every item you many need for your adventure. My final criticism lies with the claim that the insert provides enough room for cards to be sleeved. While this may be possible with penny sleeves, if you're using anything thicker you're going to run into issues. I picked up the Mayday Premium sleeves for my copy and I quickly found that the space available for the cards disappeared with many cards being left out in the cold. I realise that this issue is tied to my sleeve choice but if an insert advertises that "There is space for all cards to be sleeves", it needs to deliver. Something which the insert fails to do. Yes, I realise most people won't be sleeving this monster of a game.I guess the real question is would I recommend this insert. Despite my rating I would say that I would recommend it but only to specific demographics. I would recommend this insert to those working on a budget but who are aware of its short comings and I would recommend it to those who are looking to store everything but won't be using sleeves. If I could go back in time to before I bought this, knowing what I know now, I personally wouldn't buy it. I would have spent the extra on an alternative insert. At this point in time I view this insert as a stop gap as I fully intend to replace it with something far better, unfortunately this will come at a significantly higher cost but I feel as though the play time I'm getting out of Gloomhaven justifies the expenditure. As one final piece of advice, before you buy any Gloomhaven insert make sure you do a lot of research. There are a number of comparison videos on YouTube and articles across various gaming websites to help you make an informed decision. I was attracted by the price and admittedly I regret this purchase. It's just a shame that the insert I would buy now doesn't appear to have a stockist in the UK.

Excellent Value All-round Storage Solution for Gloomhaven
I was warned that once Gloomhaven arrived, I would need an alternative storage solution. Oh yes indeed - this is very true. After researching a variety aftermarket alternatives, I chose this product primarily because of price and features. The fact that the various sub-boxes can be used on the game table without taking up huge space aids set-up and put away time. This product does not disappoint in delivering what it says it does.It takes a good evening to assemble, however, and needs PVA wood glue (not supplied). But pre-cut foam board sections were very easy to extract (no hang-ups) and slotted together without a hiccup. The only small drawback I have found, is that some of the storage trays for the standee cardboard are a little too neat. Overtime, either the foam board or standee cardboard laminations may fray/separate if care is not taken. The tightness is really down to the limited space in the Gloomhaven box and the thickness of foam board required to make sturdy. At least the foam board does "give" a little unlike wooden solutions, so with care, the standees should last.A final plus point is that there is space in the cardholders for the cards to be sleeved. So overall, very lightweight, robust, modular and cost effective in relation to alternatives. Highly recommend.

Fantastic for storage and also improves setup time!!
We were late to Gloomhaven, but when it arrived we were shocked at just how much stuff there is in the box (cards, standees, map tiles, tokens). Initially tried to bag all the components but it was all taking so long to set up and put away, another solution had to be found! This organiser is superb. It comes flatpacked, 10 sheets, 5 different pages with two of each. I used a wood PVA glue as recommended on the foldedspace.net website, and a flat brush to apply. As there are two copies of each tray in the set, the best way to tackle this is to dry build one tray to see where all the glue needs to go, and then build the second one using the PVA glue.. Finally disassemble and reassemble the first of the two trays, this time using glue. Some of the trays are initially a little fiddly to construct, but the designs end up becoming excellent sturdy trays. The design of the whole organiser is excellent, a space is provided for everything, even down to smaller sections for monsters which only have 4 standees, and larger sections for monsters that have 10 standees. What is fabulous is that there is also a diagram to show you how to stack everything back in the box. and (once you take out the original plastic and foam inserts) everything fits in perfectly and the lid shuts! The organiser makes everything easier to find, you can bring the trays straight to the game table, so setting up (and putting away) takes half the time. Although it's not cheap, it definitely makes playing Gloomhaven easier - highly recommended!

Great insert, but needs glue and instruction
Top tips;1) You must use glue.2) you must watch the instruction video.3) you must write the pieces that go in each section on the bottom.Expensive for what they are, but definitely do the job, saves HOURS on set up and clean up.
