The r-e-a-l leather feels very natural in my hand, and that is important to me when I pick up a journal to record my thoughts.(The leather cover does feel a little loose for the very good, included, notebook -- as though the cover could be "one half-size" smaller -- OR -- the notebook could be a "one half-size" larger.)The paper in the 240-page, wide-ruled notebook is slightly darker than depicted on the Amazon webpage, but _not_ so dark as a Whole Foods brown paper bag or an Amazon cardboard box.The amazing quality about this well bound, well sewn notebook paper is that NOTHING GHOSTS ! Not pencil, not 0.5 or 0.7 or 1.0 gel pens, not Pilot Varsity fine nib fountain pens -- NOT EVEN my Expo Vis-a-Vis Wet Erase marker pen!

Really wasn't what I was looking for. It's more my fault than the product.

Very nice quality, and it fit my leuchtturm1917 A5 hardcover perfectly.

If you do any artwork in your journal or use a variety of pens/markers this is the refill for you. I have rarely had any bleed thru to the next page.

I love writing on this paper. I use it as a journal and I feel like I’m writing on old papyrus scrolls (in a good way). It’s also very sturdy and ink doesn’t smear on it. Very satisfying—I’ll be getting more for future journaling.
