Heaven
I grew up in the country, my parents having a hundred acres or so. Black raspberries were abundant but you had to a) get there early before the birds did, and b) put up with lots of scratches from the little, but thorny briars. It's my absolute favorite flavor, but not one readily available. I can get red raspberries, but the flavor is off-putting, I guess because I'm wishing for a different flavor. I even tried to grow them, but I live in florida now, and I think you need a cold season where they go dormant. Thank goodness for the internet, and of course, Amazon. I saw the liquid and the powder, and eventually settled on the liquid. As soon as it came I had to tear into it, to see if it had that wonderful scent. It did. It took me back to that field, in the summer, being ever so careful to pluck a fat berry from the bush without getting caught on a briar. That extraordinary purple color is just beautiful, plus I learned there are a lot of health benefits, too. My first taste test was crepes. I made them twice, not realizing how much extract you needed to add. I'm used to the baking extracts where a little goes a long way. This, I find, needs about 3 times what I would normally use with, say, vanilla or rum. (Although I have been known to go a bit heavy on the vanilla at times.) It is a bit pricey, so it's a special treat for me, but anything that allows you to relive a snippet of a great childhood memory just by sniffing a bottle is certainly special. I should also mention that it came bubble wrapped in a box-exactly how I would have packed it myself. A little bit of heaven in a bottle.

Well worth the cost for a superior product
This little miracle in a bottle lives up to its big reputation. 1 tsp in an glass of water every morning. Natural diuretic and inflammatory properties. Chalk full of anti cancer benefits. I am a three year breast cancer survivor, I keep this in my arsenal at all times. The cost is relative, it's 500 berries, plus the freeze drying and extraction process to give you a concentrated formula that's easy to ingest and tastes amazing.

Tastes Great…But is it Helping!
How does one know if a supplement works? I won’t know until l get labs done, to make a correlation if the results are positive. It has an intense dark purple color, with a black berry flavor due to its super concentrated form. It’s thicker than a blackberry pancake syrup, and tastes great. Daily, l put about two drops in my water, and/or in my water with other supplements as it dissolves well and masks unpleasant tastes. It hasn’t done anything to stop my allergies alone. I hope it’s working internally. We will see.

Expensive but very good stuff
This tastes good and is wonderful for your throat. I bought it because I suffer from reflux problems in my throat and have read that black raspberry extract is very healing to the esophagus. I put a teaspoon of it in a bit of kefir in the evenings every night for a couple months and noticed an improvement in my throat. It made for a very delicious "smoothie" as well! Unfortunately, this product is just too expensive for me to continue using it. That's the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

This is wonderful smelling and tasting !
I really like this - opened bottle and there was that scent I loved so - was reminded of when I was able to get the Baskin Robbin’s Oregon Black Raspberry ice cream here in Nebraska. I miss it so - black raspberry is my favorite ice cream and can’t be found in my state. So with this bottle I get a little of Oregon’s best, a bit of their Black Raspberry in Nebraska. I’d love to get more of their black raspberry products.

Not worth the price !!!
I never give reviews on the products I buy through Amazon, but on this product I will not hold my tongue! This 2 oz. bottle cost 44 dollars, I went by instructions but I couldn’t taste it at all in 20 oz. thermal mug with brewed tea! So I started adding one ml. after another and got to 7 or 8 ml. and just barely start to taste the black raspberry, I was so fed up I poured the entire bottle into one 20 oz. mug of tea! Admittedly then it was too strong, perhaps I should have just added two more ml.s but that still would have made each 20 oz. drinks 22 dollars! I would not recommend!!!
