My 4runner visor is almost 1 inch thick, is this holder big enough to fit on it?

My visor is more than a 1/2 inch thick but a little less than 3/4 of an inch on my Fiat. And it fits great and snug without leaving a mark like the metal wire clamps do. I imagine most visors with a mirror/light are about this thickness. Looking at the formed shape of the clamp, I would say you could fit a 3/4 inch visor. But 1 full inch would be very tight and slightly pushing it.

Will the glasses stay on even while the visor is down and up?

Yes, they do stay. a good choice...

Will it scratch the sun visor when it is stuck on the sun visor?

I have not moved it since getting it but it is padded
