2008 compilation from the British hard rockers who brought the campy fun of '70s Rock 'N' Roll into the millennium but were drawn into debauchery and stumbled around before calling it a day a handful of years later. Singer Justin Hawkins was once asked if they considered themselves the 'gay AC/DC'. Without hesitation, his reply was even more humorous: 'No, we're the straight Queen'. 21 tracks including 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love', 'Get Your Hands Off My Woman' and 'Love Is Only a Feeling'. Warner.

Best band out there today for soild ROCK, with a bit of quirkiness. They are still whipping out enjoyable material. They are indeed "The Last Of Our Kind". Love 'em!

best start pack for The Darkness, if you don't already have some of their CDs
This import collection contains the following two CDs in their entirety:* Permission to Land by The Darkness (2003)* One Way Ticket to Hell & Back by The Darkness (2005)track #21: Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End) is the only song not on either of these albums.-If you are looking for new music from The Darkness, then this is probably not the place to start. If you are new and looking for clean start, this would be your best bet.Enjoy!
