I have a small 20 gallon aquarium. There are lambchop rasboras, neon and glowlight tetras in there. All other foods I have tried, only top dwellers will eat but neons and glowlights showed no interest. Either the flakes were too big or they were hard for little fish to enjoy. Mostly snails ate those food. These Sera flakes are small and soft, I crumble a bit and all of them are happily eating this food. I have this food in an eheim feeder ( modified with a thick paper to make feeder hole smaller) and they are all fed this flake a few times a day.

Got this for my extremely picky betta fish who exclusively ate tubifex worms for months. I want to vary his diet so I bought this in hopes he'd like it, which he thankfully does. Worth the price.Something to mention is that if you tap it on the surface of the water, or otherwise disturb it, it will promptly sink.

This is a wonderful product. The ingredients are much better than some of the other fish food. They stay afloat for a pretty long time which is good. However, if you want them to slowy sink to the bottom, you can just grab a pinch about and submerge them under the water level. My rummy nose tetras and shrimps love these.

These flakes do not have any dyes or preservatives so they don't have the multi-color look of other flake food. The protein source is insect meat which is compatible protein with freshwater fishes digestive systems. With the exception of live and frozen foods, probably the best nutrition available today.

My Blood Parrots enjoy these flakes, as part of their varied diet, but they make a mess of them with their hectic eating. I think less rowdy fish would not make such a mess with these flakes.

It's like they can't get enough of it. When I feed my fish it's like a feeding frenzy. It's all gone quickly! Even my cat looks to see if I dropped any on the floor. Lol
