Does what it should do

Excellent quality. What a pity that I'm going to heavily modify it for a gate-unrelated project, for which it is perfect. :-) Dimensions: Iron used is 5.6mm thick and 28mm wide. The gap is 55mm (approx 2 3/16 inch) wide and the loop is 78mm high (internal). 30cm from hole centre to end of loop.

Seems to be well made and robust enough for our gate. The width was more than the 2” stated though but I squashed it in the vice a little and it fits perfectly well. Really happy with the item and was pleasantly surprised when the coach bolt for it dropped out of the package too.

Received and checked. Poor quality and don’t think it will last long considering it has to be outdoors. Repacked in original cardboard and printed out label at Evri printer, returned within two days. Received email goods £13.04p. Refund only £9.11p Complaint raised with supplier via Amazon return policy . Under distance selling regulations NO charge should be make for return.
