ILC Color Changing Light Bulb 120W Equivalent DIY Mode Remote Control E26

The bulbs work beautifully! One remote works on both bedside lamps, are very responsice, and the color options are cool to play with. However, beware of the strobe light button right next to the on and off buttons. Day one, I accidentally hit it and the rapid flashing nearly blinded myself and my partner in the middle of the night. The bulbs were definitely designed with event function in mind, so if you have epilepsy steer clear. Also, be aware that the slow rotating colors will become very intense, especially the red as it flickers right at the end before going round again. For me it it was jarring and caused a headache, but as it's a completely optional function I just ignore that button. The three levels of dimming the warm light are perfect. Brightest fills up the room making it easy to work on projects, mid dim is similar to accent lighting, and the lowest setting is just enough to maneuver to the bed without waking up anyone else. What's nice is that the remote remembers the dimmer level when turning back on, so I get to enjoy easily falling asleep to the low light and waking up without making my eyes scrunch up.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆... A great alternative to "smart" bulbs for people who have a life. 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲... I received a few Lenovo Smartbulbs that were bundled with their smart clock. Setting these bulbs up for Google Home was an involved process but not complicated. We enjoyed the ability to control the brightness, color, and "temperature" of white. Things worked well for a while until there was an issue between Google Home and Lenovo's smart device servers. During that time, we were unable to control the lights (kitchen island) via Google Assistant or Google Home. We COULD control them via the Lenovo Link app but only with the Android version of the app. (the iOS version had login problems) These are just light bulbs. I shouldn't have to spend time troubleshooting why I can't adjust the brightness. If internet access goes out (an extremely rare occurrence) we'd be just as stuck. It was then that we decided to search for bulbs that offered some variety that we enjoyed with these smart bulb but without the added complexity. 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘀... These bulbs had a relatively high brightness, provided some control over brightness and color... all without the need for an internet connection. We purchased the 2-pack. The package included 2 bulbs and 2 remotes. Because we have both bulbs over our kitchen island we only need one remote, but it is nice to have a spare. We're impressed with the options available with these bulbs though some, like the strobe, don't seem too practical. There are 3 levels of brightness for the "white" setting. They serve the purpose but it would've been nice to have more levels available. Not a show-stopper. There is a mode where the bulbs fade from one color to another. It is possible to slow the transition down so that it is subtle. Not very practical, but fun... and an option we find ourselves using more than we thought. We've had the bulbs less than a week so we can't speak about the longevity, but they seem well-made and look forward to them having a long life. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿... These bulbs aren't for everyone. If you're into the whole smart home scene, then you'll be disappointed that these bulbs can't be controlled remotely if you're outside of the house, nor can they be controlled by voice/smart assistants. But, if you'd like a little something-something more than plain white bulbs without the complexity or hassle of configuring smart bulbs, then these are a great option.

These are great and so bright! Screw them in and they are connected easily! Operation is user friendly, 1 control for all the bulbs. Does use a IR remote. Love the price! Variable colors and themes. Update.... After a year the controller lost it and not sure if the bulbs sensor gave out, but it was after a lot of use. Loved it, but too bad the control gave out.

I use these to light up my basement and they do a fairly decent job. The bulbs are responsive to the remote as long as you point the remote toward the bulb’s direction. If you have other devices that operate on the same frequency as the remote, be sure to avoid pointing the remote in their direction when using the remote on the bulbs because the other devices will also receive the signal and an action will be executed, vise versa. For example I have a cordless fan which has a remote and when i push the button to turn up the fan speed, the lightbulbs turn pink if i point the remote toward the bulbs. Overall these are a decent run for your money, the connectivity of the remote works well, however the brightness is a bit underwhelming and that is what’s keeping me from rating this item 5 stars. It has enough brightness to light up a room don’t get me wrong, but there are other bulbs that have a lumen count if 1100 or 1150 that I would give a look at before purchasing this item.

these are amazing

Work great, love the remote control though distance for control is fairly short.

When they don't want to go to bed, the kids have a habit of getting out of bed and flipping on the light switch. They share a room and it interferes with the other kids' sleep, and horrors await the next day ... (!) My husband resorted to unscrewing the lightbulbs every evening but that gets tiring and a bit dangerous, as he was up on a chair every night unscrewing bulbs. Plus, there are completely valid reasons for why we need to turn the light on in the middle of the night, especially when the kids are crying. Introducing this miracle bulb: if you want to use it as a conventional lightbulb during the day, flip the wall switch to [ON] and press the💡"lightbulb" button on the remote. Nobody going in or out would know that you have a fancypants bulb in the light fixture there. Turn the light off conventionally by flipping the wall switch to the [OFF] position. So don't worry about being tethered to a remote that someone else can not figure out, and might lose. When you put the kids to bed, you have the light switch in the conventional [ON] position. Then you turn the fixture off with the remote. You have effectively turned the bulbs off and disabled the light fixture until you turn them on again with the remote. The remote control works through the glass light fixture so we were able to return it to it's place. There are other fun colors and a strobe light feature. They work as promised.

So far it's working great, I basically just bought it for a standard lamp (soft yellow light) so I don't really use the other colors but they are neat. It has three brightness levels and the highest is VERY bright, the middle is a calm medium and the low is very low, mood style light. All in all great for the price considering it came with two bulbs.

Bought for outside of house for Christmas - was not sure how they would look or how bright they would be! - Not disappointed at all, Bright - Change to many different colors with remote and they work and look great! Bought more for Backyard light and put in poker room in basement - Fun effect when friends are over... Recommend buying this brand and 85W for exterior.

Font très bien, je les ai mis dans mes lampadaires extérieurs et je joue avec les couleurs.

Wonderful product! Much brighter than the ones I had before. The normal light lump color is as bright as a regular bulb, and the colors don’t disappoint either. Easy to dim with remote, no need to download any apps.

It didn’t quite work for me because it was just a bit too tall for my lamp. The color-changing feature works great, and the dimming function is a nice bonus. If your lamp has a fixed lampshade height, be sure to measure carefully. It didn’t fit mine, but I was able to get a refund without any issues.
