Terrible liner. Dont waste your money on these shorts. My privates were destroyed after 9 miles.

Initial impressions: I haven't run in these yet, so I'll update my review after I get some runs in them. The shorts are very lightweight. The outer shell is a nice lightweight nylon that is short, but not ridiculously so. The inner compression lining is slightly longer than the outer short, giving these shorts a cool look. The material for the inner lining isn't what I had expected. It's more of a mesh compression material, as opposed to the typical smooth spandex/nylon. It's doesn't feel quite as comfortable or supportive on first wear (again, I'll update after some runs).I wear a medium (32-33" jeans) in all sport shorts. I purchased a Large in these and the fit perfectly. I'm a long distance trail runner looking for protective, lightweight shorts that will hold up and reduce chaffing.UPDATE: Okay, I'm impressed! I wore these shorts on a 10 mile run (4 miles trail, 6 miles road) and basically I didn't think about them once. That's a good thing! The liner was snug enough that it didn't move around, and I couldn't feel my thighs rubbing together, so no chaffing at all. The outer shell was quiet (not swishy material) and light. It was 80 degrees and 100% humidity. My merino wool shirt was completely saturated in sweat, however when I took the shorts off after my run, only the liner was moist (not soaked) and the outer fabric was dry. Very impressive. These shorts will definitely keep you dry on long summer runs.I'll update after I've got a couple hundred miles on these shorts in case there are any durability issues with the liner, but right now I would highly recommend these shorts.

Not really sure what's wrong with the shorts. I ordered an XL. And the shorts are labeled as XL. But they are nowhere NEAR an XL. Weirdest darn thing I've ever seen. Not sure if I should send them back and try another XL, or, just ask for my money back?

The shorts fit well. As another reviewer noted, you don't need to think of them when you are running. They stay where they need to stay. I have run two marathons in them and worn them on several shorter training runs. The back pocket was big enough to hold 3 gels and car key, without impeding the run.That being said, I have one criticism. After both marathons, they left dark blue stain on my legs, which was promptly transferred to the toilet seat and bathtub. I am dark-skinned and I couldn't tell that my legs were stained. That only happened after marathons, and not after shorter runs. The shorts had been washed a few times before that, so this was rather surprising (and worth taking a star off).

Not what I expected. I am 5’11 175 pounds. The shorts fit low on the waist and the green built In (underwear) is not the spandex stretchy material I was hoping for, instead it’s some sort or basket ball short material. I don’t have muscular legs but they fit tight. I got a medium. The shorts are light and the build in underwear are comfortable to free ball in for runs. Just be mindful if you have thick or muscular legs these probably won’t fit you due to the lack of elasticity in the built in underwear

Sizes are way off. The first pair I got were small so I bought a bigger size and they were smaller than the first pair I got. Don’t bother.

I initiated a return on these but went out of town. Hate losing the money but it was my fault for not getting the return back to the seller. The seller seems to be very good and I will watch for other items they sell.Why 3 stars?Very itchy fabric.The stitching and outer fabric are solid!Fit is very good and the shorts appear to be durable. I bought them for running and had to change after less than 2 minutes.Recommendation to the manufacturer... Use a smoother fabric for the internal shorts. Academy Sports has a very similar version (store brand) and they are very comfortable.

These have been my go-to exercise and activity shorts for a couple of years now.The good: I find that the fit, flexibility, lightweight, and overall comfort of these shorts have made them extremely versatile; I wear these for just about anything, from running, bouldering/rock climbing, weight lifting, light bicycling, to yard work.The bad: Only one pocket. The single rear pocket is small and can't zip closed if holding anything larger than a low-profile wallet. My phone fits about 3/4 of the way into the pocket; I'll sometimes put my phone in there without too much worry -- I certainly wouldn't go for a run that way, though.I find it hard to complain, overall. And, it helps that these shorts are cheap! I own several pairs and I think that if you were to give them a try, you might like to own several pairs of them, too :)

Had I known these were being shipped literally all the way from China, and that the sizes were so far off forcing a costly return (almost the same value as the shorts), I'd have passed.Sadly, you live and learn and hindsight is 20-20.So overall, salient points as follows:Pocket is far too deep to the bum, making keys and things hand low, bouncing around when runningThe inner lining is flimsy and not thick or comfortable enough to make them better than having a separate tight pair underneath shortsThere are no other pockets to speak ofEven the small size is on the large size, and I'm 5'7" (1.67m), and 70kg so medium buildThese would be OK for a gym session where you just need a very light card key, but if you need to carry a credit card, inhaler, house key or want good skintight fitting, look elsewhere.

They are a one key or card pocket on the back of the short, but not really for men. This is more a woman's running shorts now.The pocket in the back is NOT for chunky keys or anything is not a good feel. I had to take my keys out and run with them in my hand. I hate to think what it looked like from seeing me from behind.It felt very, very awkward with a bunch keys dangling on your bum cheeks!!!! One key I think would have been different, but who has one key?I did get slight chaffing as it rubbed on the inner thighs seemed to stick to the hair causing the friction.I think it is the material caused some electrostatic grip on the hair; thus, causing the chaffing.So, not sure why other people are not getting he chafing, distance or something or time-of-day?To me this feels like someone modified the design without getting people to test them and it feels and shows.I would not buy again and would prefer not to have bought these shorts.Not more bum pockets for me again!

I have three other pairs of theses shorts from over the last few years and i've always liked them - hence buying another pair. I've never had a problem with them. Good fit. Comfortable and great for running in.This pair, however, appears to be different - even though they're same size.Very shortly after starting any run it feels as though the inner material has suddenly turned in to sand-paper and gradually tries to remove a layer of skin in a rather sensitive place. I'm not sure if there's just a tiny fault in them but as I say - it's the same size as the three other pairs I own.So I guess 75% of these I've purchased have been good, meaning this review might seem harsh. But frankly it's painful so I feel the need to vent and just the chance of another bad pair would put me off of buying another pair.I'm not sure if I

Good shorts at a great price. Taken out for a half marathon a few 10ks and some cycling, they've held up great, not chafing.I bought a Large I'm a 34 waist and have pretty chuncky quads and they fitted nicley, they have a draw string to tighten the waist too.

Thought I'd try these shorts for running and liked that they are a little different. They arrived well made and a decent fit, but the yellow inner is not equivalent to compression materials so I found it not sufficiently supportive for running as a man, if you know what I mean. However they are comfy and light so I have been wearing them for gym work and they are fine (and distinctive!)
