I highly recommend taking Boswellia for general problems with inflammation, especially from arthritis, it's helped a lot with overall pain relief. My Migraine Specialist highly recommended I give Boswellia a try. He works at a Top Headache Clinic. So when he recommends something, I try it. We've had a number of fails, but this one was a win. I spent a month looking in stores for Boswellia, finding none and most pharmacist having never heard of it. So I just went to Amazon.Glad I gave it a try. I am sensitive to medications and supplements. I can't even take a daily multi-vitamin because they make me feel nauseated. Boswellia does not. I am a life long migraine mess, the last 15 years I've had chronic migraine.I've been getting botox injections for migraine for over a year. And while it helps with the severity, it does little for the frequency. Boswellia on the other hand reduces the severity of my migraines and also has helped with frequency. I have been taking it daily for 3 months. Long enough to tell if it's placebo effect or real effect. It's real.Swanson brand was the original brand I tried. And since it helps, I will continue with this brand.The pills are capsules. And they smell a bit like frankincense. Love this product, husband was a total skeptic............until he tried it for 2 consecutive days, now he takes one in the morning before we go for a walk with the dogs and puts one in his pocket for later in the day, it helps my shoulders and my neck pain go away, and for him his shoulders also. I did notice a BIG difference in the Swanson that is whole herb and the one that is made with just the tree resin, the later did not work at all, whereas the whole herb formula works like magic, within two days for us both, sometimes I think that soon it will be un-available because it is too good and works too well so I bought a few bottles. (forgot to mention that I no longer use, or need otc meds, like Ibuprophin)

I use this in conjunction with White willow bark and it helps with my osteoarthritis. I have used both for three years now.

I have used this before. It actually worked for me. I have to be careful not to take too much, as it can cause minor heartburn. I take it with food, otherwise I am burping up frankincense. Not a terribly unpleasant thing, but I can do without that.

Tried Swanson Boswellia because of my experience their products... quality, reasonable price, delivered quickly. I had read about Boswellia helping to reduce inflammation and pain. I already take Turmeric supplements. Added Boswellia to my daily routine. When I ran out of the first bottle I noticed some pain returning after a couple weeks. I decided that it must be helping and purchased some more. Happy with product. Hope others find this useful.
