UFCIT(TM) Extendable Self Portrait Selfie Handheld Stick Monopod Pod For iPhone Samsung camera with 1/4 inch Screw Hole (New Pink)

It came and appears OK made for the price and holds a phone reasonably well for non-impact use. The wrist strap is too small and only fits my petite 12-year-old girl's hand (too small to fit over the hands of teenage boy and parents). I ordered 2 different colors and was sent both the same color (but too much hassle to return for a refund since coming directly from China Amazon only does refunds - as I found out from a different item directly from China that came broken / missing parts. The hole on the base of the pole is meant to allow it to be placed on a tripod, but the depth is too shallow for a standard tripod mounting so I had to use a rubber washer to make a tighter fit (otherwise it wobbled all around). Even with this washer fix, at a full extension the pole leaned a lot to one side under the weight of a small portable camera. The head bolt was fine for the camera and the locking screw was fine for a cheap product, but seems like it will strip easily making the head useless if not very careful. The extended pole is thin and could easily be bent with a small amount of sideways pressure or dropping it on anything (basically a cheap telescoping pointer). The separate holder that came with it was fine and holds a phone well with slight tension. Overall a good cheap camera toy accessory but not for use where there is a chance of accidents or more than a small camera or phone (or a child that is not very careful); but considering the price it rates 3 stars. I will likely buy a $35 pole for outdoor activity use on trips to feel more confident it will not accidentally break.

I was looking for something sturdy and that can accommodate the bulky case (otter box defender) I have for my iphone, I was not disappointed. Looks well made especially for the price.Easy to change the angle for a better shot and the clamp holds my phone securely.The small rubber padding at the top of the phone clamp is dislodged very easily and can get lost, the device will still work without it. I solved the issue by stabilizing the rubber padding with a clear elastic band (small ones for baby's ponytail) that is easily accessible from most drug/grocery stores.You will need to download an auto timer app to take photos.

It is a super cool product and is great for group pictures and for pictures that you want to include a lot of landscape in. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that you have to use a self timer app to take the picture because there is no button where you hold the stick. I will buy a remote separately so I can take pictures without using an app. The remote seems to be a good price though so overall it isn't too bad.

This product came fast and looks just like the picture. I got the pink one and it's the same exact pic as shown. It does not have a dedicated camera button so you will need to download a timer app or get a button for it. It's made of metal so it's very sturdy. Though over time I'm not sure if it could rust?. It extends pretty long as well. My iPhone 5s is pretty secure when it's on. I actually really like this product cause when it's helpful when you want to capture a group photo no one will be left out to have to take the picture. I highly recommend this product.

I paired this with a bluetooth remote. Don't leave home without it when we are dressed up or out on the town, vacationing etc. I am finally in some of the shots instead of behind them. We are always approached by people say "what great idea".This pole works with all my Go Pro mounts as well and the camera clamp also fits on my mini flex tripod as well as on my full size tripod both on the camera clamp as well as at the base of the pole itself. Fantastic design and idea.

so far - this hasn't worked out too well. We have iphone 5's in Lifeproof cases - and they fit great. nice and secure. no worries there, even with the stick used on a motorcycle or leaned over places...the phone is secure.our gripe is that the phone will "swing down" with gravity. It seems a few notches in each extension would keep it from doing this...and it's hard to beat up a product that is so cheap...but honestly it's not worth even a few bucks if it doesn't hold the phone in a steady position when extended. It's not like it's shaky...it just allows the weight of the phone to rotate upside down when you extend the pole outward. We have to find another solution for a 'selfie stick' this one isn't working.

It came with no instruction but very easy to figure out. The stick doesn't extend very easily. It kind of hard to pull it out. The part where they hold the phone press against the phone volume button on the side so I have to adjust the phone over a bit which doesn't sit very balance. Overall, it serve it's purpose and for that price, I think it was a good purchase.

Product works as is for videos, but if you intend to use it to take a picture, you will also need to purchase a wireless remote control shutter release self timer. I bought it as a gift and was disappointed that the user could not take pictures with it right away ... but instead had to order the wireless remote control. Awkward.
