I loved this last year, so I purchased the large size again this year. The formula has changed and it is greasy and smells so strong that I had to shower. It used to smell wonderful, now it smells chemicalish. So disappointed. I am returning it. No idea if the new version works...couldn't stand wearing it long enough to tell!

The product itself is great. I love the larger bottle, our last one lasted us forever. People always ask me "how did you get a size this big?!"With that being said, this does NOT come with a spray nozzle. Unfortunately, I threw out our old bottle before this one came and now I'm left with a bottle with no nozzle. So, before purchasing, you should know that this is intended to be a "refill" replacement.***Update - After contacting the company, they sent me a nozzle at no cost, so I’m bumping the review up to 4*’s.

This product is definitely better than spraying deet on your skin. The smell is appealing (vanilla) --- but living along the march and brackish river waters of the St Simon Sound of the Georgia coast, I found it only "somewhat" of a repellent on gnats. I will continue to use, but a little disappointed and have reset my expectations! Also, didn't realize there is no spray with this bottle and assumed with the reference as a "Bug Soother Natural Insect Repellent Spray..." (------ this bottle was actually a refill bottle ---- my fault)

Love the smell! It works wonderful for the gnats & no-see-ums... not so much on mosquitos or those darn horse flys. Since the ingredients are natural (& it says you can..) I will even spray it on my dogs when it’s buggy out and they don’t mind how it feels or the odor. It really helps keep the little flying buggies off of you! Plus... again the smell is lovely.

Unfortunately the ingredients have changed and the smell of this product is not what it once was. I have used this bug spray for four years on my daughter who’s skin reacts unfavorable to mosquito bites. I would spray her before sending her off to daycare and the smell was a pleasant vanilla type clean smell. This new formula I will not be spraying on her as it smells awful and mirrors the typical inexpensive deterrent one night purchase at Walmart. I’m very saddened by this recent revelation. I will not be purchasing this spray anymore or spreading my love for its effervescent qualities as I once emphatically did.

Love love love this stuff! Of course when the mosquitoes are running thick it’s best to use a deer based product but in the spring and fall this works great for me and my children (2 and 5). This really is a good buy for the money. I looked at recreating it and the cost would have been higher.

This product smells like vanilla and works to repel mosquitoes. YOu have to make sure every centimeter of skin is covered. If you miss any, the mosquitoes will still find you.It's nice to smell like vanilla instead of a toxic cloud of repellant. It's nice to know you're washing off something that won't destroy the environment.

This stuff works amazingly ANF smells great. I like that it is all natural. I've sprayed it on my feet ANF gone barefoot to a bonfire with no bug bites. I really enjoy using this product. I put it on once, and a friend asked what perfume I was wearing! Sooooo much better than chemical sprays!
