same brand as originally came on the car
Exact fit for 1997 Civic CX although rubber hoses come long and will need a little trimming. High quality components (Denso is a Honda OEM supplier) and there are helpful videos on YouTube to walk you though the process. The only negative is the annoying little clip that goes on the bottom of the screen. You basically have to swage it on. A snap ring would have been much better. This is not this kits fault and part of original design. Without rushing it took me about 2 hours to do the whole job.

Denso is the OEM for Honda and many other imports....Fit perfectly.
Installed this in my 2000 Honda Civic Si with no issue and saved $150 doing it myself vs. the dealer. Denso is the OEM for Honda and produces many parts for other imports as well. This is considered "Gray market" not "After market" since it is the same manufacture of OEM stamped products.Fit, Function and Performance after install was excellent. Explore Youtube for R&R of fuel pump, but purchase Denso on Amazon...great price.

DO NOT BUY! Not an authorized distributer
This was the issue I had with the part sold and shipped by Amazon as I described it to Denso customer service: "I ordered Denso 950-0111 Fuel Pump from Amazon: Shipped and sold by Amazon.com. I have a 1999 Honda Civic HX 1.6L SOHC. The strainer in the box looks nothing like the original one installed in the car or the one pictured on your website for that same product number. I need a strainer that looks like 952-0009 or the one that was supposed to come with 950-0111. Can you please help me?"Their reply: "We do not know what Amazon sent you since Amazon is not a DENSO authorized distributor and they do not get their DENSO parts from DENSO."

Denso fuel pump
This OEM Denso fuel pumps is the real deal.Works perfect. Installed in my 2000 Honda Civic exAnd my GS-R integra. After 5k miles still no issues. And to be honest I don’t see my self ever having issues with this pump off Amazon
