Valoinus Compatible with iPhone to HDMI Adapter,Plug and Play 1080P Digital Audio Converterv

I bought this to project an app from my iphone to my TV. It worked kind of ok the first day I used it- the screen would freeze on the TV or the sound would cut out. The 2nd time I tried it, I was lucky if I got the picture of my phone screen on the TV, and it would immedately freeze on the TV, even if the phone was displaying something else.Update tried again today, it only shows a screen with a QR code. Followed the QR code which led to an app that is complete incomprehensible trash.Final verdict- DO NOT BUY, it will only cause aggravation.

My only complaint is, I couldn't play CBS all access with this through my iPad on my TV. I don't have a TV with all the fancy apps and whatnot. This is by no fault of the product and is because come to find out that CBS has their videos protected. It mentions in the product description that it won't work with certain apps/players that have their videos codded. So that sucks. I'd hoped CBS wasn't one of the ones it wasn't compatible with, but alas it was. However, if you're using it for sites or players that don't block this HDMI adapter it's excellent! Or anything else. Easy to hook up, small and compact.

Didn’t work from the start. Would not read or register signal on the tv screen. Very limited instructions who’s type face was so small to took a magnifying glass to read. The described paper clip fix did nothing, the recommended app download did nothing and had no instructions. No reference to help phone number or web help. I called Amazon on a weekday who attempted to contact the manufacturer and they reported nobody answered the phone. I took the advice of another dissatisfied buyer who recommended “don’t waste your time...buy the genuine Apple product that actually works.

This is just another one of those products that do not work with iOS devices. Really disappointed. Ordered the hdmi to lighting adaptor to connect my iPad to the projector for a mural, that i need to start today and this thing is completely useless. Does not work. Will return and spend the extra 20 bucks for an Apple one.

I was hoping to use this for duplicating my iPad screen to an external monitor. I originally intended to use this for playing Netflix but then I realized it wasn't supported which I recognized and was okay with. I was not able to get this to work at all with my iPad Air 2 with the latest iOS.I will update in the future if this ends up working on a future iOS update.

I plugged the adapter into my phone and could not get a signal. I know the HDMI cord work as I was just using it. I thought there was a problem with my HDMI cord then used another. The adapter did not work with the new cord.I went to the website and there was no troubleshooting information. There was a note on the instructions to use a pin to reset. That didn't work either. I tried calling the number on the website but the number was out of order.I plan to return this unit and hope you have better luck or choose another item.

This thing is a little strange. It works; however, it only works when the usb to lightning cord is plugged into the adapter and into a power source. This would be reasonable except that while plugged into the power source and adapter, it will output the display but will not charge the device. The genuine apple version has non of these issues. It is useable, but not very convenient.

This product only worked couple of times before stopped working. The screen shows a QR code for scan. After scanning, routed to a website asking for personal information. It is such a wast of time and money!DO NOT BUY IT!
