It arrived quickly and well packaged. It's small and feels like good quality.I don't need a faster or managed switch, so this looks perfect on paper to simply add additional wired ports to my router.Installation was totally painless, just plug in the power and network cables and it immediately started working. No issues whatsoever.I've only had it wired in for an hour or so, but I will update this review if needed.

This is a very fast {1G, all ports} unmanaged switch. It seems of good quality as most of Netgear items are. One bit of information, after plugging every Ethernet wire in and then applying power, as the manual suggests, I was having stability issues that my Router's tech support solved which was to unplug every Ethernet wire and reinsert them 1 at a time, with power on, and the stability was fully restored. It's working flawlessly. It's worth the premium price for the performance it offers and the brand recognition.

Well worth the price. Easy installation (plug n play) and works well. Upload speed dropped down a bit (from 950 to 790-800), but the difference is barely noticable. All devices had no issues with connectivity.

Got this to have more Ethernet ports. Works great, fast speed easy to set up. All plug and play. Would recommend

I needed to run internet to my garage located 280ft from my house, I had my doubts due to the length of wire I needed, but i got this Netgear 8 port data switch and 300ft of cat6a ethernet anyways and honestly, i should have done this sooner! Super easy setup! Plug in and go. Even being run through 300ft of ethernet connection speeds are great through this switch!Tested via wifi 100ft away from my garage router!

Works perfect and price was good. I just needed a basic wired hub for 3 computers to run Ethernet through..plugged it in ran an Ethernet cable from each PC to the hub plugged in my Ethernet cable from my router and it was that easy. Connection was automatic and download and upload speedsis the same as a direct connection to my router. Has worked perfect for my needs with zero issues.

I am not an expert. I was looking for a switch with good performance and the ability to put the ports to sleep when there's no traffic. I read some reviews on specialized websites and trusted the brand. The price/quality ratio is good with a nice level of finish and a metal casing. I have 2 at home, one of which I have been using for several years. It's ready to use, no configuration to assign, it doesn’t heat up, and I have never had a single problem with it. An excellent product at a good price.

Easy to Hook up and use. This makes extending your connections so simple. I chose this because it was a brand name with a high quality reputation.
