The hat is fabulous bit there is no chinstrap. That is an important feature of the hat. Contacted the seller and those response was to offer an $8 refund. I will be returning the hat.RC

Cute and good for the sun the only thing is one of the reasons I bought the hat is that I noticed in a lot of previous reviews people said you could adjust/tighten the size. I don't know if it's just mine, or the type I chose but the only way to tighten mine is by the draw strings at the chin and I have small head (like it doesn't look unusual but I usually where a child sized baseball cap, rather than adult). This is annoying on a hot day when you don't necessarily want something tied tight around your chin as well as covering your head when you are trying to keep cool, so one star off for the annoying factor....but other than that it works and it does look cute and if you are a small headed person like me (ha ha) you probably won't mind too much depending on what you are doing (like at the beach etc. where you normally have to tie something on to keep it on anyway).

Thisis a very cut and stylish hat, BUT it is advertised to be able to be folded up for travel. I bought it for a trip to Italy and after travelling in my luggage it didn't look good. The creases wouldn't come out and the band came undone. It is attached to the hat by a thin layer of glue and not sewn. I had to safety pin the black ribbon so it didn't come unraveled. Unfortunately the return window has closed.

Got my hat wet. Still looks lovely
