Do you size injector to the psi of washer or gpm of washer? I have a 4000 psi rgpm washer, would this work?

Not work with 4000 PSI pressure washer. The max pressure is 3200 PSI.

Is there a way to tell what percentage you’re using with sh? or no? because i’m wanting to use something like this for soft washing houses

It's a 10 to 1 ratio, great for vinyl housing with at least a 10% SH but not much other materials will be cleaned well at a 1% mix. I suggest using a backpack sprayer with hand mix til you can buy better equipment. Good luck out there!

Yes it is a weight. It goes inside the plastic housing to keep it from floating .

How many feet of hose is this injector rated for?

I have a 3100 2.8 gpm and it only worked on 25 feet of hose trash I got it to use on 150 feet
