The item is as advertised. It did come a little late. If you do need to make the gate not as wide as it came. You have to have the right tools and knowledge on how to do that. Not all that easy. For what you purchase it is a very good gate, easy to put together. I am very happy with purchase.

Finally got the hardware and there’s no prefilled holes or anything I had to eventually hire someone to figure it out and still he isn’t able to complete it. I wish I could return it but I missed the window between waiting for hardware and then finding someone to try and install it. As of today it’s still not installed as he is having to figure out the engineering to it.

Great product! Complete gate and needed hardware in one box - no back and forth to hardware store. It can also be modified for narrower opening. Like most jobs 80% of assembly took 20% of time and the last (installation) took 80% of time. Great value - $190 for everything you need including gate material, hinges, fasteners and latch.

The order was delivered promptly BUT there were pieces that were substituted and very wrong. I believe that this particular item was returned previously with the first buyer substituting what he didn't need for what he needed. I am now another week behind on closing up my yard because I was sent a product that did not have any quality control. There was some evidence that it was returned. First, the box had double staple marks but only one staple. There were multiple tags one on top of the other. Screws that came with the kit were not in a baggy but poked through the top of the accessory box. Biggest problem was the missing parts. Quality control seemed to be lacking here.

I just put the gate together and hung it yesterday, so I can't speak to it's longevity. My one complaint is the directions are seriously lacking. Probably not a problem for a professional fence installer, but it was a downside. I need another gate and will probaby buy this one, now that I know how to put it together

It comes needing assembly, but easy to put together. will buy another one for my other gate this summer.
