The media could not be loaded.  Connected to a loft DAB aerial it works just fine, 129 stations found and a good 80% are strong enough not to pop and fizz (DAB channels) FM signals in my area are strong, so with the loft aerial being technically not trimmed for FM frequencies some attention of the signal is taking place, but most stations are showing at 100% signal strength. Remote is a bit odd as it’s for the entire range, so some buttons, like CD have no feature on this unit, but it’s fine, as long as you press the correct button. Without a good aerial this unit would struggle I’d think, the little wire effort in the box, when used, for research, found 14 stations and they broke up from time to time, so a loft, outside or high up aerial I’d say is a must. Sound quality is good, the unit I feel can manage better than it is ever present with by the DAB stations offered, I say this as the FM side sounds a little better, than the DAB equivalent, but I’m not getting into that rabbit hole. All in all a solid, well built little unit.

Tuner was easy to set up and worked well. Sound quality was fine for home office use. Disadvantage was DAB stations are not alphabetically listed. I will get around to DAB when I have time to find my 6 favourite stations.

Replaced Tangent 100 whose display faded, nice design, sounds well into Quad system. A larger display would be an advantage, It Needs an adapter for the antenna connection.

Rubbish waste of money works on fm only dab+dab does not work won't buy tangent again or TV tech

Esxcellent DAB / DAB + tuner. Only gripe is inability to order stations in alphabetical list.

Sounds good on dab+ dab decent sound, good value for money ,nice chunky design ,limited presets though.

Good / as described. I saw a couple of questionable reviews on this item, and I am pleased I ignored them - the sound and reception is excellent (it is replacing an old but former award winning FM radio, and this is better on FM and all-round), the freebie Ariel worked OK / well and brought in 126 DAB channels, I then plugged in my outdoor DAB Ariel and it was even better. This works / sounds much better than other DAB radios I have too. And when plugged into my pretty expensive separate HIFi system the sound is really good (it is better sounding using DAB via phono leads than my internet Radio though a streamer and a good quality DAC). Note Internet radio wont let you listen into some local BBC broadcasts e.g. football), so using this radio with DAB is good for that too. RDS FM radio is good. The unit appears really well built. On the flip side, it's a shame I thought the DAB+ would give me the ability to pause live radio but it doesn't, the display is small, the volume control doesn't change the volume into my amp (that is OK I use the amp's controls) and the instructions are not very full; but the ease of use is very good / intuitive and its a simple thing to use. And the point of this unit - SMALL and good sound, if I didn't want that "small", I am sure the small negatives above can be overcome with a larger radio... I am very pleased with this, especially for the size, and again....the sound it very (really) good through my Hi Fi using old but good quality phono / RCA leads; I will try using the digital connection through a DAC at some point for interest, but I don't think I need to. Recommended.
