IST WR3 Underwater Writing Slate with 3 Snap Open Layers, 5 Writing Surfaces

The product itself is excellent and exactly as described. The Dive Master who received my slate is thrilled with it.My husband said it looked like the arm control panel from Buzz Lightyear. It did, kinda, but that didn't bother me.The reason I gave it away is because it was way too big for me. Even adjusting the strap and positioning it higher on my forearm didn't help. I could have worn it on my calf, I guess, but then it wouldn't really be accessible. :PLoved the idea, but in practicality, you need to have really well-built arms to keep it on comfortably. I'd say this is a "man's fit".(For reference sake, I'm not that tiny. 5'4" and 150lbs.)

it's cheap and so i dont feel too cheated, but there are some major flaws in this design. 1) there is no good way to erase what you've written, even underwater. 2) the o-rings used to hold the 3 slates together does not hold very well, so every time i moved my arm underwater the top 2 slates opened up and really got in the way. 3) the velco band is way too big to hold it onto your arm (and i've quite a large guy). i ended up having to tie it to my arm so it wouldn't fall off, and i had to put it on in the water cause it would slip off every time i entered the water. i would not recommend this product

the tablet is great. the only problem is the strap which doesn't hold up for long.

You can pay more, but there is no need to. I like that it came with extra O-rings, just in case the ones on it get lost, broken, or stretched out.

Small, inexpensive and effective. If you dive you need one of these. If you instruct they are absolutely essential. Communicating underwater takes practice and should be one of the first safety measure a diver learns. Do not be fooled by all of the high speed slate and higher prices. This one serves it purpose perfectly.

I tested this dive slate in my last diving this month. It really works as it is easy to take note, the writing does not erase with the water and is clear to read. The velcro arm look a little big to my arm, anyway, I worked the way to keep steady on the arm.

I haven't used it yet, but it is a good size to use while diving. I look forward to using it.

Good enough for dive planning and underwater communications.
