Rockwell Labs IBDC032 Invade Bio Drain Gel-1 Qt

I've been battling a drain fly issue for months and couldn't get it under control, even after trying many recommendations found online. This stuff works - but you need to do it religiously, every night, until you see no more bugs. I'm on week 3, but haven't seen any flies for a few days, so I know my problem is nearing the end. The bugs persist after the treatment because this does not kill them - it dissolves what they are living on. I would not bother with this size bottle (there's a bigger one) because treatment for a week probably won't fix the problem. ChatGPT was very helpful with suggestions, including putting some into the dishwasher.

I paid a bit extra to get this fast. Glad I did. I have a sink in the basement that draws all sorts of bugs since some earthquakes and torrential rains damaged my basement. I discovered the sink was clogged up and I saw what I now know was a long wing coming out the top. I plunged it out and the water started to run. Thought it was unclogged. Not so. So when I got this stuff, I followed the directions and left in in two days. Went down this morning and figured it would still be clogged since the reviews said this was not for clogs. But turned the hot water on, ready to plunge again, but this time the water ran great, constantly and I looked down at the hole in the basement floor where the water drains and it was coming out perfectly. So I can only tell you that so far, I'm more than happy. I hate dealing with plumbing and bugs and mice and all that stuff. But, when you own a house, you never know what you are going to run into and you may have to deal with it yourself. I also saw a gnat come out of my bathroom drain. So, I treated it. Left it covered all night. So far, no more gnats. It smells great and is non-toxic. It's safe for the pipes and plumbing but seems to do the job. So, at least so far, I highly recommend this product and will certainly buy it again.

A few things you may want to consider before purchasing this product. First, it worked for me so far, but 1 quart is not enough to treat multiple drains over the course of a week as most would recommend. My main concern was one bathtub, but I initially wanted to treat every drain, just for the odor fighting properties, and used 75% of the bottle just on the first day, leaving me enough to hit my bathtub 2 additional times. So far, after a few days, no drain flies when over the past several months I'd usually spot 4 or more in the bathroom each morning. The only reason I am taking away a star is because 1 quart will be too small an amount and the product info when you purchase it does not tell you multiple applications over days may and probably will be required for drain flies. Another concern is how Amazon ships this product. It smells like oranges and seems to be mostly natural, but there are enough poison control warnings on the product to make on a bit wary. I ordered this item with some workout equipment on Amazon and it all came bulk boxed and the box itself smelled like oranges before I even opened it. If you are buying a food item with this product through Amazon, be aware this could happen. Also, the price is a bit high for a quart and I have seen this selling for half the cost elsewhere. I doubt it costs the company more than a dollar to produce and bottle this amount of liquid. It was convenient for me and it worked, so no big complaints there.

Don’t waste your time with any other product. This got rid of those disgusting gnats from the bathroom drain. Took two tries. THIS WORKS!!
