This stuff works - but you need to do it religiously, every night, until you see no more bugs. I'm on week 3, but haven't seen any flies for a few days, so I know my problem is nearing the end. The bugs persist after the treatment because this does not kill them - it dissolves what they are living on. I would not bother with this size bottle (there's a bigger one) because treatment for a week probably won't fix the problem. ChatGPT was very helpful with suggestions, including putting some into the dishwasher.

Highly recommended for your sink if you have issues with phorid flies.
