There are some reviews of the product online. I will put my thoughts here:Pros:- Slim design. Really portable.- Does not require a power plug. This is handy when there is a chance to waste a disc if power goes out.- Decent speeds till 6x is supported.- MDisc certified. This is important since writing to a MDisc requires special lasers.Cons:- Slower than other writers like the ASUS one.- Looks and feels delicate, requires careful handling.All in all, it's a good device to create backups of important data.

Quality good but adapter is fault

Price is little bit high but worthy.I have written both Blu-ray and m-disc on this drive and working without issue.Built quality look decent, fill safe.Thank you Amazon & seller for bringing it.

Reads and writes to virtually any optical media including Blu-ray! This little monster is a life saver especially for a generation that has collected CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays and may need a handy portable writer to archive data on Blu-ray disks.

Bad product not working without using Power adapter..........not operate with usb power it needs saprate power supply to work.....

What is the use if software provided with this cannot play blueray disc. You have to install separate software to play blueray discs on the computer

Ich habe mir diesen Bluray-Brenner zugelegt, weil ich alte TV-Aufnahmen von alten DVD-R Rohlingen auf Bluray-Discs sichern möchte, denn es ist ja bekannt, dass diese selbst zu beschreibenden DVD-R-Rohlinge nicht das ewige Leben haben.Lieferumfang:Zum Lieferumfang gehört der Bluray-Brenner, Ein USB-Kabel, ein Kabel für die Stromversorgung, Eine leere Bluray-Disc von Verbatim mit 25 GB Speicherkapazität sowie die zugehörige Software.Die Inbetriebnahme:Angeschlossen wird der Bluray-Brenner mittels des Inlay blauen USB-Anschlusses (USB 3.0) an den Rechner. Außerdem wird eine separater Stromanschluss für den Brenner benötigt. Am mitgelieferten USB-Kabel hängt zwar noch ein weißer USB-Anschluss mit einem etwas dünneren Kabel dran (USB 1.0), aber wofür der benötigt wird, verstehe ich nicht.Einmal angeschlossen, funktioniert der Brenner auch schon. Er wurde sofort erkannt. Ich nutze den Brenner an meinem Deskop PC, auf dem ich noch Windows 8.1 nutze sowie an meinem neuen Lenovo-Laptop mit Windows 11. An beiden Rechnern wird der Bluray-Brenner problemlos erkannt.An Software nutze ich den Leawo Bluray Player, der kostenlos zum Download angeboten wird. Damit kann man neben DVD's auch problemlos Kauf-Blurays am PC schauen. Das Filmeschauen funktioniert aber auch mit dem VLC-Player. Zum Brennen nutze ich Ashampoo Burning Studio.Zur Lautstärke: Der Bluray-Brenner läuft die meiste Zeit schon recht leise, lediglich beim Booten einer Disc hört man das bekannte Geräusch deutlich. Trotz allem hält sich die Geräuschkulisse aber noch im Rahmen.Ich bin mit dem Verbatim-Bluray-Brenner soweit zufrieden, auch wenn ich die Anschaffung recht teuer fand. Die DVD-Technik ist aber veraltet und wenn es um die Sicherung wichtiger Daten geht, setze ich dann doch am liebsten auf Markenprodukte.Was gibt es sonst noch zu sagen: Der Bluray-Brenner ist sehr handlich und kompakt. Ich habe mal mein Lineal neben dem Brenner angestellt. Der Brenner hat eine Höhe von genau 1 cm und auch in seiner sonstigen Größe ist er nicht viel größer als eine Bluray oder DVD-Disc. Er passt also gut mit in die Laptop-Tasche rein.Ich würde den Brenner bei Bedarf jederzeit wieder kaufen. Wer einen benötigt, dem würde ich diesem von Verbatim definitiv empfehlen.

Jag hade en billig USB blue ray läsare men det var flera filmer om den vägrade läsa. Den här har klarat alla blue ray filmer hittills. Den enda anmärkning jag har är att den ibland har svårt att starta, men efter några försök har det alltid gått. Jag har inte plats för min tv nu så jag använder datorn till att titta på film. Jag måste dock påpeka att jag har INTE försökt bränna skivor med den.

Prima di acquistarlo, inizialmente avevo valutato masterizzatori esterni "slim" di altre marche come migliori per via del fatto che per questo masterizzatore non avevo trovato alcuna recensione. Ma dopo aver approfondito ed essermi informato adeguatamente sulle caratteristiche tecniche anche contattando direttamente le case produttrici, ho scoperto che questo masterizzatore blu-ray verbatim slimline è, a mio avviso, il migliore, in quanto, oltre al resto, è completamente compatibile con la tecnologia M-DISC.Nello specifico, non l'ho ancora provato in masterizzazione sugli M-DISC, ma posso asserire che è un ottimo prodotto dalle dimensioni minimali, eccellente per chi necessita di avere un masterizzatore universale sempre con sè o di spostarlo da un computer ad un altro in ufficio o in casa.L'ho testato su un laptop ed un ebook. Il primo è un Acer Extensa 5220 con windows vista e il secondo un Asus con windows 10.Sull'Acer il masterizzatore funziona perfettamente ma occorre collegarlo solo a sistema operativo già avviato, altrimenti il portatile non si avvia (si visualizza la scherma iniziale dell'Acer che rimane bloccata), probabilmente per via di una parziale incompatibilità con la bios, ma c'è da dire che tale modello (Acer 5220) è molto datato.Con l'ebook l'Asus (modello di 6 anni fa) invece tutto perfetto.Una nota importante sugli accessori compresi nella confezione del masterizzatore (dato che anche sul sito ufficiale non è chiaro cosa sia dato in dotazione):-Cavo USB ad "y", fondamentale per auto-alimentare il masterizzatore con 2 porte del tipo USB 2.0;-Alimentatore esterno nel caso si necessiti di una corrente di alimentazione che il pc non è in grado di fornire (ma col cavo USB ad "y" non è necessario, se si disporre di due porte USB 2.0);-CD comprendente Manule+Software di Archiviazione "Nero Burn & Archive";-Blu-ray MISC SL da 25 GB.Consiglio questo prodotto sia perché trattasi di un masterizzatore universale che legge e scrive qualsiasi supporto (anche i blu-ray XL e in generale tutti i DVD e bluray con tecnologia M-DISC), sia perché ha in dotazione già tutti gli accessori per poter essere utilizzato con qualsiasi portatile o PC (funziona anche su MAC). Il software in dotazione (Nero Burn & Archive) è utilizzabile con DVD e CD.Il prodotto è distribuito da Verbatim ed è costruito dalla Mitsubushi, ottima azienda giapponese.Acquisto da anni supporti ottici e periferiche Verbatim e devo dire che sono sempre rimasto molto soddisfatto per qualità ed affidabilità, e quest'ultimo acquisto conferma la mia fiducia.Infine, il prezzo Amazon è conveniente, si risparmiano intorno a 40 Euro, e il prodotto è completamente nuovo, integro e sigillato con garanzia di 2 anni (con ricevuta fiscale). Chi acquista richiedendo fattura ha un 1 anno di garanzia.Ho acquistato contestualmente anche una custodia da viaggio Salcar che è risultata essere perfetta per tale masterizzatore.Ho ritenuto giusto lasciare questa esaustiva recensione per rendere merito a questo prodotto ed agevolare altri utenti nella loro scelta d'acquisto, che necessitino come me di un masterizzatore portatile universale e performante.Occorre infatti valutare con attenzione i masterizzatori esterni in quanto quasi sempre (per quanto ho potuto vedere sul web), sono solo parzialmente compatibili in scrittura con i Blu-ray M-DISC (ossia masterizzano solo i blu-ray a singolo strato), e inoltre non tutti i modelli supportano i blu-ray XL ad alta capacità.
