Vibrant Blue
Great color. Works well in my fountain pen and with my dip pen.

Good, but rubs off on some paper types
I have been using it on a Rotring Esprit Special Edition 2006, and compared to inks like the Pelican 4001 and cheap Inoxcrom it doesn't stop flowing after a while if you don't use it often (which in the case of the these last two inks is probably due to their turning into gunk inside the reservoir, I suspect). It flows quite easily but doesn't feather, at least not in Bond or onion skin paper. But because it is not waterproof, in the former it will tend to rub off even after it has been lying on the page for a day, while in onion skin paper it dries up pretty quickly and doesn't rub off. Since I am not some pen connoisseur I haven't tried on other types of paper. The color stands out on the white page, much more so than the Pelican 4001 "Brillian Black" I have - in fact it has a shine to it that is missing on the latter, which is ironic considering its name. Overall I think it's worth having a bottle of it - even some Noodler's rub off on your fingers, so it is not a quality problem but one having more to do with the chemistry of certain inks.

What A Wonderful Ink
After watching reviews by some of the leading Fountain Pen sellers who use DIAMINE Ink themselves I decided to order the Majestic Blue to try out, And I'm not disappointed, The Majestic Blue is a Rich Blue that Drys almost as soon as it hits the paper, whose color is Consistent, with no faded looks or streaks what so ever, that leaves a beautiful Blue signature. I would like to add that this ink is as good if not better then the High End Japanese Inks, And why shouldn't it be, After all DIAMINE has been producing Fountain Pen and other Specialty Inks for Kings and Queens since 1864, that's over 155 years, You don't stay in business for that many years if your not doing it right. Check out their web site and look over the many colors of inks they Manufacture, Its mind boggling. (Update) As I mentioned above this ink drys Super Fast as soon as it hits the paper, and although it works great in my Pilot and TWISBI Pens, I didn't have very good results with it in my Older Esterbrook Desk Pen that has a Super Fine Nib, It seems that this ink drys so fast it causes it to Clog the Feed Slot on Fine Nibs, of course the Ink Flow returned when I applied pressure to the end of the NIB on paper which broke the dried ink loose and everything returned to normal. I still think this is a wonderful Ink and will continue to use it in my other Pens, the Majestic is one of the Riches Blue Inks I have ever used.

Great ink and service
A great British made ink shipped with care.

Great color and flow, but dries too fast for my use.
I use my pen to primarily take notes while reviewing documents. If I dont continuously write and don't cap my pen, the ink will dry out on the nib. This would be good if you are using it for signatures. I do like the color.

beautiful blue - almost a pure blue
Majestic Blue is a deep, rich, beautiful blue - almost a pure blue, but perhaps with a slight, very slight hint of red. I love blues of all sorts and this is absolutely one of my favorites. To compare it to other Diamine inks, this is about as pure blue as Midnight, but lighter, and about as dark as Sargasso Sea, but more pure blue than blurple. Oh, and this ink sheens. I have a lot of inks that sheen, as that's one of my favorite features of an ink, and this one is one of the tops. Writing on high quality papers upon which ink dries slowly, like Tomoe River, or especially vellum or onion skin, with a wet pen, this ink can give off an amazing coppery/reddish sheen. Beautiful stuff.

really nice color
The color is what I was looking for in a blue ink - dark, almost indigo. Reminds me a bit of new, never worn Levi's. The only pen I've tried it in is a Conklin Duragraph (F), but it writes very smoothly (paper is Staples Premium Inkjet/Laser Bright white which I have found works pretty well with fountain pens) with no bleeding. I didn't find the price outrageous - I have some inks that were far more expensive than the $15 or so I spent on this.

Beautiful ink. The flow is just perfect, and it dries quickly. Looks a bit generic, so if you want something fancy looking, try some other colours.

um lindíssimo azul majestoso, Majestic de facto.

This is rock star ink. Deep, majestic blue. Covers well on any surface and just looks wonderful. If you want a happy version of it try Florida blue by same company. Darker colours cover better but Florida works well. It’s kind of green blue and upbeat. Both are great in fountain pens
