Great replacement part

I bought a used cuckoo clock online and didn’t realize it was missing the pendulum. This was a perfect replacement and got the clock up and running. The leaf is adjustable to calibrate your clock. Since the info is a bit hard to find, slide the leaf higher on the pendulum if you need it to swing faster and lower if you need it to swing slower. The style matched my cuckoo clock perfectly and hooked on without any problems.

I had to return this one for there was no adjustment for the time. It is fixed and does not move up or down. Eventually went to a clock store and they had what was needed. Not your fault I should have read the description better

It was right

This is a poor excuse of a pendulum, as it does not allow any adjustment to speed up or slow down time. Exactly what a pendulum is designed to do. Impossible to slide the weight up or down to make that adjustment.

This is a great looking pendulum. When I attached it to the clock, I noticed that the time was running slow. Therefore, I would raise the leaf to speed up the stroke, but there is no adjustment on the leaf. With a really small flathead screwdriver, I opened up the jaws of the mounting hook and slid the wooden shaft upwards and then re-clamped the hook piece. I will check to see if it’s keeping time now and if not, I will raise it a bit more at a time and may even have to trim the shaft.
