THIS IS A GENUINE MILWAUKEE BATTERY. I was nervous at first to be honest. But I’m glad I got it because it is a genuine part. Everything about it is great, I use it on my half inch impact and it takes off bolds that a 5.0 wouldn’t budge!

This item was great to have as a back up, I used it for my fan system on very warm days. Its power and fit stated in the description title was accurate. Would definitely order this battery again. I came on time in without any problems with use. Would order this item again

If your deciding if you should buy the true red lithium battery don't buy those cheap knock offs that fall apart and only last a couple months top. I purchase the real deal red lithium batteries and they last a long time my last battery was 6.0 and I still have it almost 2 years later. It's been beat up though and that's why I decided to purchase the 8.0 red lithium battery for a few facts it makes your tools run much better and they last. All I can say don't buy the cheap knock offs buy the real red lithium they last at least a year longer for sure. I will recommend the red lithium batteries to anyone that has Milwaukee m18 tools.

I had reviewed this earlier and gave it a bad review in my opinion, and for that I apologize. I found out that it was my blower that was actually bad and not the battery. The blower was new but I guess every once in a while you can buy something new, even from Milwaukee, and it be bad. Anyway the battery is purchased here is good. I got another blower and used this battery and it done very good. It will last about 20 minutes with the blower running continously. For r the price you can't beat it. This is a very good deal though Milwaukee still says they don't stand behind the warranty on products sold by unauthorized dealers. I guess you can just have it repaired by using the date code on the battery and not using the receipt from Amazon. The battery I got had a good date code, it being only a few months old, about the same as you get no matter where you purchase the battery. So overall I'm very happy with the purchase and as I said it's a really great deal. Again I apologize for giving this a bad review before. I usually wait a few months before writing a review to see how long products last and how they perform, but I jumped the gun on this one and I'm sorry. If you need a Milwaukee battery buy this you won't find a better deal and yes I will purchase again myself.

After researching batteries for my Milwaukee 3/8 impact wrench I went for this 18v 8.0 it's got more power than the 5.0 and I like that it lasts longer between charges so if your looking for power then this is the battery for you.
