I really like these tips. I see in the reviews here that people are complaining that they are too hard and won’t hold chalk, I’ve tried all of them now from HH to SS and honestly I like them all. I really like how because they are hard they don’t absorb the power of the shot, an elk is like a mushy jelly hit compared to these tips. These Cuesole tips are just like other tough laminated tips and will need the contact surface roughing up regularly, something suggested one dose with their Kamui tips and in fact Kamui sells a “special” tip rougher upper for this very purpose.. yet all the reviews for the Kamui’s are positive... hmmm.... so yes if you want a good solid hit that’ll last you’re gonna have to simply rough up the top once in a while, it’s no big deal. Also there are other types of chalk, I like the combination of these tips with the Predator chalk. Literally everyone I know who uses soft tips like elk or blue diamond talk show about the “knocking in Time” after a while of playing they get tougher, tip compressors even are a thing.. like seriously don’t be selling me no spongelike cow bum that I’ve got to buy special tools to finish the manufacturing process at home omg. In short I doubt I’ll be looking elsewhere for tips any time soon.

Local league snooker player of average ability.Have used Elks forever but recently have had to change tips far too regularly due to the very soft elks wearing out fast.Decided to try these on a spare cue which I took to the club for a practice with this evening. Wow!I bought the soft ones and they feel great. Tricky to put on the cue, and once on they take some work to get into a good dome. Hold chalk reasonably well, looks worse because the black tip shows through the green chalk I use. Hit a number of deep screw shots without chalking between and was amazed at how well the tip grips. Felt firm without being too hard, allowed me to cue with more confidence. No miscues so far after 7 good frames.Got home this evening and first thing I did was put one on my main cue. Second thing was to write this review.Will update when this one wears out, I hear from other players that delamination can be a problem.

Brought these plus talisman elks blue diamonds every tip you can think of these are pretty good and good value but I've come to the conclusion a 50p elks perfectly as playable as all these expensive tips and the more expensive ones are so damp hard elks are firm and grip the ball much better on screw shots etc all in all these are good but a decent elks just as good

I have used many tips, including expensive Talisman.IMHO These tips from CueSoul play better. They have to be shaped, which can take some time, but it means you get a tip exactly the way you want it.I have played with both soft and medium so far and both give excellent control with the cue ball.I wont be looking anywhere else in the future.

Worst tip I have ever used. Give me a blue diamond all day long and a fraction of the price.

i was really looking for the Japanese design tips and bought these cos they looked the same.Don't be misled , these are rock hard rubbish which took ages to dress and would not hold chalk .They sounded odd when I hit the ball , and I could not control the cue ballI have sincere removed them and used something elseI tipped ones cue with the soft and one with the medium , and could not tell the differenceSlightly better than using a cue with no tip

Put one on my cue straight away took a bit of shaping/trimming to size also needs scuffing up to take chalk but so far so good it seems like a decent tip

Fast delivery. Packaged perfect. Do not buy these tips unless you like hard feel. These are built to last but do not hold chalk and are like plastic.
