Jungle TB620W Tank Buddies No More Algae Water Clarifier Tablets, 8-Count

This product seems to work well in the tank. During the summer my tank starts getting overrun my algae, I tried cleaning regularly, but could not keep up and the algae kept coming back. I tried the liquid algae killer, but it did not work either. I saw these at Walmart and tried these (they are a kind of high, so I thought they better work). After a water cycle I dropped one in the tank near the bubbler (figured it would disperse into the tank). It quickly dissolved. I came back the next day and found the tank to be clean. The algae was gone and the ornaments that I could not clean (algae in crevices and could not scrub out) were clean. I came to Amazon and bought some more, I want to point out that it is a box of tablets (individually wrapped like effervescent tablets) and not a bottle like pictured. I am not sure what these tables are, but they have crazy warnings! It states that if you just get this on your skin you should call poison control, so be careful and do not let kids deal with it. I hold the tablet packet on the end and snip off the top over a trash can, than just drop it into the tank, and throw the rest of the packaging away. I am very careful with these, I do not know what is in them that is so bad to humans, but the fact that is states that if you just come in contact (even skin) you should call poison control immediately... In the end these seem to work, I put one in each tank (my tanks are each 10 gallons ; one has tetras [black, neon, and red, this tank has salt added for disease prevention] and the other is split with two male bettas) after each water change and I have not had a problem with algae like I did before I got these. I still see some in areas of direct sunlight, but not as bad as before. I will keep using these and so far these are the only thing that works in my tanks.

This is the only algae killing product that I have found that works with black beard algae! I have a 60 gallon fish aquarium that had become completely overrun with black beard algae and I had tried several other products over the past year to no avail (the issue continued to become worse). Within 24 hours of dosing this product, there was immense improvement and within 28 hours almost all of the algae was gone! I changed the tank water about 5 days after adding the product and then did a second round and can report that there is no algae anywhere to be found in the tank at this point and none of my fish were harmed! Can't recommend this product enough for any algae issues in aquatic tanks!

The algae I was having a problem with I had never had before, and my algae control wasn't helping at all. The first time I bought this product, I used it as directed, one tablet for each 10 gallons of water, and it rapidly cleared the algae but it soon killed my most of plants. I replaced my plants and when the algae reoccurred, I only used two tablets in a 110 gallon tank, it took longer to clear the algae but it has not as yet harmed the plants. So I plan to continue to use it as needed. For anyone not growing live plants I highly recommend this product, for those who do have live plants use it with caution as I am.

I’m not sure how some reviews claim their results are seen in 24-48 hours, but nonetheless it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve added this to my aquarium and the water is finally crystal clear and any traces of algae are gone. It was a process but watched the water improve day by day. I did a 50% water change about 3-4 days into it and that made a drastic difference as well. Would recommend and buy again

My tank had black algae that I was unable to get rid of no matter what I did. I had emptied the tank. Cleaned it with vinegar. Started over with new filter & heater and gravel- as well as plants and decorations and the black tufted algae came back every time. I tried this product and after 2 treatments there is ZERO black algae. I could not believe it. My fish ( neon's and a betta) were unaffected. I now use this a few times a years to remove any green algae that the snails miss. So glad I tried this.
