Holley 37-485 Renew Kit Carburetor Rebuild Kit

Had all the parts needed to rebuild carburetor. High quality gaskets.

Upon reading all the horror stories about the carburetor kits and issues I have to say this one was ok with no issues so far

OEM Holley kit for double pumper Holley 4 barrel 4150s. It had the genuine parts I needed for a 3310-1 vacuum secondary 780 cfm carb with two metering blocks.

Overall, I found the parts within the kit of quality, and after removing the original gaskets the non-stick gaskets have been a very nice treat. However, Holley's ambiguous literature keeps this from being a five star review. The Holley website calls the kit one name, Amazon lists it under another name and the title on the box is different yet again. Also the documents contained in the kit were very limited, there was no reference to part names, locations or numbers. The smaller parts were all bagged together requiring the old parts to be removed, matched and noted against the new parts for proper reassembly, not a problem for a professional, but could be daunting for the average consumer. Despite those shortcomings, I do recommend this kit, as it contains all the "wear parts" you need to make your carb like new again, and that's the important part.

Get this fixed my problems make sure use carburetor cleaner in all the holes and definitely blow it with air in all the holes

I ordered this for my Holley 850cfm dual feed double pump carb (4781-2) for automotive use. It's a fairly complete kit that I used after the car had been sitting for 20+ years and the carb had plugged up. It doesn't include the jets (there are too many possible options) so save your own and make notice of the jet number to ensure they go back into the proper (primary/secondary) side. I didn't need to replace the throttle body gaskets, so I'm not sure about opening up the middle of the carb-I only needed to rebuild the metering blocks at either end. Compressed air, carb cleaner, and acetone seemed to do a good job of cleaning everything up. When removing metering screws, count how many turns to lightly seat them, then remove for cleaning. I think the green accelerator pump diaphragms are specified for the marine and alcohol fuel use. All gaskets fit perfectly, and their location for reassembly was obvious. This was my first automotive carb rebuild and everything went well-the engine starts, idles, and accelerates perfectly now.
