Electric Kettle with Glass Carafe for Tea and Coffee, BPA-Free, Fast Boiling, Auto Shut-Off, 1.7 Liter, 1500W, Black and Silver

I turned my Toyota 4Runner into a solo camping vehicle. Sometimes I want to make coffee or re-hydrate a Mountain House de-hydrated camping meal. In order to do this, I need boiling water. This Amazon Basics kettle it simple to use and works great. After an initial cleaning, I put about 1 liter of water in and set it on the cooking stand. I then pushed down the "start" lever. The blue light lit up and it began to heat the water. I use a Bluetti AC180 power system in my 4Runner. The kettle pulled about 1440 watts on average during the heating process. After a several minutes, the water began to rapid boil. About 10 seconds after the rapid boil began, the unit clicked off all by itself! The water poured smoothly from the kettles spout. I like the glass kettle since it lets me see the water inside (I want to make sure it really gets to a rapid boil). And the stainless steel is a nice touch. It is however slightly larger then I had anticipated. Not a big deal, I just thought I would mention it. Overall, it is a very well designed kettle that looks good and works great. Especially for the small price I paid!

I had this for 3 years but dropped it recently when it was empty (thankfully) and it damaged the top so it does pop open now without force and is difficult to close. It worked great while I have had it boiling in a timely manner, never overflowing or any problems. I am replacing it with the smaller version of it because I have both (the other is at work) and this taller one is much louder when it first starts heating though it does quiet down when coming up to a boil, than the smaller one. I literally have to turn the volume up on my TV when this is on. That is my only complaint and otherwise recommend it since it has a larger capacity & never gave me any problems.

Very happy with this purchase. It heats up 2 cups of tap water to a rolling boil in about 4 minutes, 4 cups in about 7 minutes. Hot tap water makes it even faster. It is faster at heating water than my large high wattage Panasonic microwave. I have used it for making jello (knox blox), stove top stuffing out of the box, and instant mashed potatoes pouches. I don't drink tea, but I assume this would make a tea drinker very happy. I use iy several times a week. Great features: Quiet, the lid opens easily with a button, but you can pour with the lid closed. No leaks, it automatically stops heating at a rolling boil. Compact heating base, easy on button, it lights up when it is on, it is very light weight. It has a good build quality. Only wish: I wish it was marked in English standard measurement, but this was simple metric conversion. 2 cups is about a 1/2 liter, 4 is close to 1 liter. Make water heater per pot is 1.7L. My review is based on purchasing this on own. I would buy it again for someone else. I am impressed.

I bought this to heat water at my office. It’s small enough to stay out of the way but works quite well and beats water quickly.

I bought this Amazon Basics Electric Kettle because I needed something small and fast for my morning tea and instant oatmeal. The 1.1 quart size is perfect for my counter space since it doesn't take up much room at all. It boils the water realy fast thanks to the 1500w power and I love that it shuts off on its own so I don't have to worry about it if I leave the room. The stainless steel looks very nice and feels sturdy enough for daily use. I am only giving it 4 stars though because of a couple litle things. the cord is kind of short so you have to keep it pretty close to an outlet which was a bit tricky in my kitchen.. Even with those small issues it is a great value for the price and the blue light when it's on is a cool touch. Definitely a good buy if you just want a simple and reliable water boiler.

Our family likes this electric kettle so much, we purchased a second one for an apartment. It build water very quickly, about 4 minutes to boil 1.25L. The automatic shutoff once it boils is nice, and unlike other models, clicks off the minute you lift it from the base, which is a nice safety feature. It is a bit noisy when it gets going, but all in all, really nice pot. The only caveat is you can't fully empty it. About a tablespoon remains in the pot, but if you shake it out, the heat from it evaporates what is left.

Water boils fast. It opens fully, which makes pouring water in easy and makes cleaning easy. And best of all as soon as you lift the carafe to pour water out it automatically turns off. I had a different kind before, but even after you poured the water out if you put it back on the heating element, it stayed on and could’ve created a fire.

The Amazon Basics electric kettle heats up water quickly and is great for making tea or coffee. The glass carafe looks nice and feels sturdy, and I like that it’s BPA-free. It’s easy to use with straightforward controls, boils water fast, and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, a reliable and simple kettle that gets the job done.

Great kettle at a great price. Clean esthetics, blue LED is a nice touch. Heats up much quicker then my old kettle. Screen over spout for any particles which my last kettle didn't have.

Crazy pleased with this new inexpensive purchase. Light weight. Boils fast, and thoroughly. Max fill (1 litre) fills my French press exactly. 1/4 full does one cup of tea. Something about the fully transparent pot is SO much better than peering at a little slit water line. And you can SEE if it's actually clean or scaly. It is just loud enough for me to hear it turn off from the other room, which I want. Being glass, it might not keep the water hot very long after it turns off, but I always make it right away anyway - so no down side. I will always buy glass going forward - and this unit again, if it lasts.

Para que no haya ambigüedad, estoy hablando de la jarra eléctrica de vidrio Amazon Basics de 1.7 litros. Calienta el agua con bastante rapidez y se apaga sola en cuanto el agua comienza a hervir. El vidrio es grueso. El mango se mantiene frío, de manera que se puede manejar muy bien. Por el momento, estoy muy satisfecho con el producto. Veremos si es duradero, por que el tema que ha sido reincidente con todas las teteras eléctricas de diversas marcas que he comprado es que se descomponen entre tres y seis meses. Esta parece estar construida con una mayor calidad, entonces tengo la expectativa que dura cuando menos un año y medio, lo que consideraría un trato justo respecto al precio. Yo no considero que le doy un uso fuerte. Generalmente la uso una vez al día por las mañanas para calentar 1.25 litros y ocasionalmente al medio día. Esto no representa un uso intenso. Entonces, veremos cuánto dura y regresaré a actualizar esta nota que escribo el 28 de agosto de 2024. Mientras tanto, sí recomiendo comprarla ya que es un producto de calidad superior en su rango de precio. Espero resulte útil.
