#6.5 Stopper Thermowell 15" Long

Not much to say other than it works great. The bung was a little too small for my widemouth carboy so I had to improvise but other than that I am pleased. Took my fermentation temperature control to a while 'nother level.

Worked great for my temperature probe when making wine

EDIT: I stand corrected, it seals better than the larger plugs I got-------------------------------------------------------------------Definitely not a #6.5, barely a #6 when measured, not I need to spend twice the money to get the other half of this product in the form of a properly sized cork.Get another one, unless a #5.5 will plug your vessel.

This is what it looks like just sitting in the mouth of a 3-gallon glass carboy, and I haven’t even pushed it down at all yet. These seem to be more like a #6 instead of a 6.5 (see pictures of the micrometer measurements) I’m still going to try this and see how it goes.

Works perfect. Temperature inside isn’t to far off from the liquid temp. Nothing substantial

It was described as fitting all glass carboys, but it doesn’t fit. After purchasing I did a bunch of research and found out the glass carboys take a no 7 stopper. This wasn’t easy info to find, and I should have done my research before purchasing. Their description is not correct though.
