Nice little scoops to use in my greenhouse

Good product

These scoops are an ideal size for containers with smaller openings and great for many food items like rice, lentils, flour ice cream etc.They are a solid build, and can be hung up on a small hook or just left in a container. They are nice and shiny as well. Unfortunately my wife put them in the dishwasher so they discoloured, so 'hand wash' only, but otherwise they do the job they are meant to and will certainly last a long time.

In my view not suitable for food as made of aluminium. Cannot be put in a dishwasher and at risk from hot water and detergents. I put mine in the dishwasher before use, standard low temp cycle with the usual cleaning tablet. The scoops came out covered in a grey dusty film which stuck to my hands. The metal has clearly reacted to the detergent.Edited: The seller has contacted me and apologised for not marking the item as handwash only. They have now changed the product description to reflect this. I cannot confirm that the scoops can be washed safely by hand and I would still not recommend them. To be fair to the seller they refunded the cost to me, knowing that I would not withdraw my review. I can recommend the seller, just not the product.

These are miniture scoops, suited to peanuts rather than ice. Unless you want 2 cubes per scoop.
