Covidien 1806 Curity Gauze Sponge, Sterile 2's in Peel-Back Package, 2" x 2", 8-ply (Pack of 100)

I used these for dressing changes for a family member recently home from the hospital. I was happy to be able to order these here at Amazon and have them show up quickly at my door, so they were here before the meager hospital supplies ran out. These 2-inch gauze sponges arrived sterilely packed, tear open easily, fit perfectly over small sutured wounds, don’t stick to intact skin, and they breathe well. In our case, I used a little dab of antibiotic ointment, placed the sponge, and sealed it with a Tegaderm adhesive dressing (that I also obtained here on Amazon). At our follow-up visit, the doctor couldn’t have been happier with the neatness and integrity of these dressings. It kept the wounds clean and healthy and allowed for rapid healing. I was also pleased with the price. This box was more than I needed, inexpensive, less than at my local drugstore and arrived right to my front door. If I need them again, I will definitely order again.

I used these in a kit that I put together for my Girl Scouts so they could carry it with them and use in emergencies.

Perfect to restock first aid kits, as well as build small individual kits for the scouts.

They’re big and thick!

MADE IN CHINA There are 2 in the bag that is seal. They are thin so they are good for a covering stitches but will not absorbe much fluid. Product description stated quote Covidien is the only US-based gauze manufacturer, and has been making gauze for more than 100 years. Zoom in on the product and the package says Made in the USA. In 3 places on the item it states Made in the USA. USP Type VII Gauze Well suited for a variety of applications; wound dressing, general cleaning, minor prepping, wound packing and debriding Sterile 2's in Peel-Back Package Box of 50 Packs, 2 per Pack, Total of 100 Made in the USA - IT IS MADE IN CHINA

These pads suck! They are now made in China and they are so small there is practically nothing there! Not east to clean wounds with them. DO not buy. Cheap price is not worth it. i would give these pads no stars if that was an option.

I bought these as part of a wound care process after a minor surgery and then my husband used them for something similar thereafter. They work really well for when you are using tape or not compared to using traditional bandaids. It is very nice they are individually packaged and you receive so many in bulk. A great value for the money. Size worked perfect.

High quality gauze pads. Buying more. Highly recommended. (I don't know why other stuff that came with this order, Amazon won't let me write a review on. Amazon says, "This is suspicious & can only be reviewed by an actual buyer. Duh? THE BUYER WAS ME!

Crap quality, it is 50 not 100 and the size is 1" x 1" instead of 2”x2”
