Kensington Surface Pro Rugged Case with CAC Reader - TAA Compliant (K97550WW) Black 8.8" x 11.9" x 1"

I love this case. Being in the military I use my computer for work daily. I normally use an external CAC reader as well. This case keeps my Surface Pro 7 safe while having a built in CAC reader to do all my daily work. It allows me to do my job much easier and keeps a slim profile while being extremely durable. I highly recommend this case if you use a smart card reader on a daily basis.

Great case. Works great for Surface Pro 7. Solid case, no overheating issues, and CAC reader makes it easy to access OWA. As others have said the area around the charging port is a bit thin and floppy but I don't think it hurts the case and it has to be that way because as it is now the charger fits perfectly inside of it. Case is also much lighter than I had expected and the USB passthrough is an added godsend as it elevates the USB port and puts it in a better spot.My only complaint is I wish they had other colors.

THis is the same cover I have for my work surface pro, which is why I got it. Does a nice job protecting the device. The ID card slot worked as advertised. Sturyd. Good product

I absolutely love this case. I use my Surface for both work and home purposes. The CAC reader works flawlessly and the case has protected my Surface from multiple drops. Highly recommended.

Probably the most impressive CAC reader I've ever used. simply plug and go, it worked the first time and every time after that for ever system I've interfaced with. Very impressive, highly recommend for anyone that needs to use a CAC card.

I was looking for a sturdy case for my brand new surface and this was it. This case is extremely useful with the smart card reader if you’re the type of worker that requires to use one and don’t want to carry around a separate reader. Unfortunately I thought this was going to use up the USB-C plug and give me two of the other USBs to use but this was not the case. No biggie but it would had been cool. Perfect other wise and people always ask where I purchased this case. It’s a little flimsy around the edges. The back strap is a nice touch for walking around with your surface while it’s in tablet mode.

I am in love with this case. I bought a CAC reader for a laptop I had and could not get it to work. So I was skeptical with this one. So I bought a surface pro 6 and this case to go along with it. Putting it in was easy and 1st time I tried the cac reader it WORKED!!!!! I was so excited no more having to go to base or the base library to get on the military websites. It was so easy. Officially the Best Buy I have made ever!!!!!!

The fitment is outstanding and CAC works very well with a few DOD type applications that were needed to meet my work needs. I highly recommend this case for those who demand a mobile full performance capability.

El producto en si mismo es bueno y útil ya que puedes utilizar el CAC y su calidad es aceptable. Aún así dudo que esto sea suficiente argumento para que cueste los 105€ que se paga por esta funda. Cuesta en torno 3 veces más que la media de precios de otras fundas. Por ese precio cuesta más barato comprarse un lector CAC a parte + funda y sale más barato.
