Pretty, comfortable cain
Pretty, comfortable cane. I needed a cane to help with recovery from a total hip replacement. This cane is adjustable, to fit the height that's right for you. The handle is comfortable, even for longer walks. Sturdy, yet light weight, and the butterfly design is very pretty and makes it an accessory vs. just a needed medical aide.

Great Cane - Nice and Sturdy
I shared a review once already. I love my cane(s). They are made of a sturdy, quality metal and the design is just as it was in the picture. I bought 2 because I wanted one for the house and one to leave in the car. In the picture, it showed them being able to fold and that was the main reason I purchased them. Unfortunately, they do not fold, so I use one in the house and put the other one in my husband's car, and we are purchasing one that folds for my car from somewhere else. I am satisfied (other than not folding) and it satisfies my needs. Great and worth it if you do not need it to fold up. I use mine every day.

My first cane-I like it
My hips have gotten too old, along with the rest of me, to always walk on my own. I had use of an old wood cane, but I am so happy to have bought this one. It has a flattened handle (instead of the round old cane top) with an easy to hold and comfortable matte surface.I found it easy to adjust to the correct height. Twist the locking mechanism on the cane till it 'unlocks' the adjustment for the cane length. Make the cane length longer or shorter by pulling the inside & ouside tubes of the cane apart or closer together. Then find the hole that the push in 'button' fits into that matches the height you need. You can find the correct height by putting the cane next to you and find the height where the handle comes to your wrist-then make the button go into the hole that matches that height, then twist the locking mechanism tight on the cane. When the button is in the right hole, and when the locking mechanism is twisted tight, you are ready to go.I had no trouble at all with either step of adjustment. Just make sure to do the twisting untightening ring first to adjust, otherwise you will not be able to slide the inside of the cane up and down (to find the right hole for the button to pop out of).The loop handle that hangs from the cane top is handy.I bought a big foot for it that has four feet coming out from one, which works well, but I'm not sure the one foot that came with the cane wouldn't have worked just as well in most circumstances.I find the cane really sturdy, easy to clean, love the blue color....All in all a great first cane-I think it'll last a long time.

An avenue to freely move about
It was with reluctance that I purchased this Vive Walking Cane. I did not want to be the owner of a cane. I began with humility - I need some help walking; and I ended up with integrity and strength - in myself. This walking cane, has taken me from California to Brazil! And, I have walked with pride! I no longer fear the embarrassment of walking with a cane, and I must say I'm having a good time with it! I searched many canes here on Amazon, and decided on this cane from Vive. It was simple, it was inconspicuous, and it helped me. I can walk with confidence; it's a good product. It is strong and it helps me when I need support and balance. And, it's comfortable to use.The strap was not great. It broke after a month. But, I got a camera strap, and now use that. It has carried me across the world - literally! The folks at Vive sent a nice letter with the original shipment, and keep me up to date on their new products. I never expected that. So, Quality of the product is 5 stars; customer service is 5 stars. And, I don't even know them. haha! I'm a regular person. I recommend highly, especially if it's your first time purchasing a cane! Go for it, and get out and explore!

Best so far
Unlike five canes (the new 2 from Amazon are by a different manufacturer) purchased a few years ago, also from Amazon, these have a new style handle. Since I'm also using the old ones, my hand and wrist said, "ahhh..." A very good thing, the new handle design is considerably easier on the hand/wrist/arm. The only reason I didn't give this a straight 5 stars across is that using a cane isn't the easiest process in the world and despite practice I'm not sure I have it down yet. I'm using canes often these days. One knee replacement completed a year ago and another on the near horizon, I recently watched a Youtube by "the most famous PTs" who recommended USE THAT CANE when you need it. Help take weight off that bad knee whenever you can. My only suggestion to the company: come up with a material for the handle which won't slide and leave a mark on the wall.. I try to maneuver the handle and bottom so there is no movement. Almost always it slides and falls UNLESS I reverse it with the handle on the floor, which isn't very sanitary even on floors at home. Oh, yes. Aging is an odd process. I'm probably not the only person whose physical body doesn't match their mind age, that sense of disbelief that I'm using a cane! I often walk off, moving from place to place at home and even in stores or doctor offices, leaving the cane behind. Maybe the maker could design a strap for your back, like a backpack? (No, I can't see that as being simple or practical.) I've joked about wearing it on a strap around my neck. LOL Anyway, this is a very good cane; my issue is that I hate being old enough to need one.
