We saw this on America’s Test Kitchens. It was rated #1! So, we bought a set. They are excellent. First of all, they’re made of thicker metal stock - the way things were made when we were younger. Next, the tops are smooth so it is easier and more accurate when scraping off the excess flour/sugar. This helps us be exact. Thirdly, then are elongated (front to back) and thin (side-to-side). This allows the spoon to enter into small bottles and spaces. This is an exceptionally valuable feature. Fourthly, they are all joined by a relatively substantial ring, not the cheap flimsy ring that always seems to allow one spoon to escape. Fifthly, the price is very fair. My very experienced wife, who bakes daily, is exceptionally pleased with this measuring spoon set. She repeatedly raved about its many features throughout her first day using it. It takes a lot to make such an impression on her in the kitchen. We also realized that we have a few other products from this company in our kitchen. We noted that each is a favorite due to many of the same reasons notes above. It made us shop for other products from them. Do yourself a favor, step up to the #1 best measuring spoon set. You’ll enjoy it for a lifetime.

Overall, I like these measuring spoons. I ended up buying the odd sizes set as well and combined both sets on the one ring. The 1/8th teaspoon was included on both, so I left one of those out. I'm happy with the purchase. I have other sets that are thicker gauge and arguably better quality, and can include more sizes in the one set like the CIA (Culinary Institute Of America) measuring spoons, but these spoons have one design feature which I found myself wanting which wasn't on any of the other sets I own. They have that curved lip on the end of the handle, which allows you to set a spoon level on your bench top. I found this feature very useful when say I want to freshly grind some pepper from my pepper mill, and needed the measuring spoon to stay level. With my other spoons, I can't tell you the number of times the spoon would tilt this way and that, spilling the ground pepper, which I would then have to scrape up. This thoughtfully designed feature alone made the purchase worthwhile for me. The spoons also have a long narrow shape, making it easier to say fit a spoon into a narrow spice jar to get the spice you want out. Whoever designed these measuring spoons, understood the issues cooks face when using them. They are also one single piece of stainless steel. Often, other poorly made spoons which say have the handles spot welded (or worse, simply glued on), the handles will come off, making the spoons quite useless. I don't think it would be wise to try and use these spoons to measure out something thick and viscous, like stiff molasses or honey that has crystallized, as they're not as thick a gauge as other sets, so the handles "may" bend. I can't say if they will or not, as I'm not going to test it, but for everyday measuring use, they'll be just fine. Overall, happy with these measuring spoons.

I was missing one of my measuring spoons for some reason and decided to get a replacement set. I realized that this set was rated #1 by America's Test Kitchen, so I didn't hesitate in getting it. They spoons are more oval, which I had to get used to, but otherwise, they are great! I like the curve at the end of each handle because the curve naturally fits around your finger as you hold it. I also like that the smaller spoons fit nicely into spice jars so you can now dip spoons into a jar to carefully scoop, instead of having to shake a jar to get the spice out onto the spoon and risk getting spice everywhere on the counter as you do so. Just another note: I didn't encounter any of the quality issues that other people had with this set.

These Cuisipro stainless steel measuring spoons are very well made. Each spoon feels solid and heavy in the hand, which makes them feel durable and not flimsy like some lighter sets. One feature I really appreciate is that the set includes a 1/8 teaspoon, which many measuring spoon sets leave out. It’s a small detail, but it’s very useful for recipes that require precise measurements. I also like the size and shape of the handles. They are easy to grasp and feel comfortable in the hand when scooping or leveling ingredients. Overall, they feel sturdy, practical, and like they will last a long time in the kitchen.

Hands down the best and most accurate measuring spoons I have ever had. The measurement is etched into each spoon, and easy to read. They're sturdy, and stand up to the dishwasher. I love being able to keep them on the ring, and hang it off my spice rack.

Cuisipro Stainless Measuring Spoons I splurged! I long ago replaced cookware with non-reactive, non-toxic stainless, cast iron and vitreous enamels, and food storage containers with glass. It was time to enshrine my aluminum measuring spoon set in a kitchen museum from the 50's. I hadn't been doing much measuring when cooking, but now that we are venturing into new food genres and trying new recipes in general (had been in a meal rut!) bringing the aluminum set out of retirement bothered me. Here is my rundown for the Cuispro set (oval, standard size measurements): Pros - Well-made; good weight, not flimsy. - Attractive: the oval-shaped bowls of each spoon are mirror-finish stainless and very pretty. - Engraved markings preferable to painted. The handles are satin matte stainless with engraved markings indicating measure. - No Spill, sits flat on counter: I was concerned about the oval rounded bottoms being 'tippy' but they do seem to sit flat on the counter without spilling. - Can sweep ingredient flat, the handle is level with tops of spoons. Important feature that surpisingly, not all sets allow. - Fits in spice jars. Oval shape allows all but the tablespoon size to fit in most jars. Less spillage and waste. Just a good, well-thought out and very practical advantage. Much better than trying to shake spices into a tiny spoon. Yes, experienced cooks don't measure...but sometimes you need to and when you do, these are great. - Double-key ring is heavy-duty - keeps them together, if you like that. However, removing spoons from the ring is a major decision as it would take some effort on my part to do so. Neither would I care to change my mind and have to put them back on this sturdy ring as it is a difficult exercise, either way. I've been trying for a good five minutes, breaking sweat! This will take a tool and possibly someone other than myself to do the job. I don't want to scratch my new spoons! Cons - Could use even more visible markings... My eyesight needs help. The engraving depth on the 1/2 teaspoon is uneven (not as deep throughout the length of the text and fainter) than it is on the others. Still, prefer this to painted markings that wear off with use/washing. And far prefer stainless to flimsier old-style aluminum that I still own or modern plastics. Would prefer even deeper engraving for better, easier visibility without eye-strain. (Deducting one star for this, reluctantly, as visibility is very important factor for me, personally.) Features for the Perfect Measuring Spoon Set - (This set plus Hoped for Improvements) - take note, measuring spoon manufacturers!All important features, but listed in ascending order: 1. Easily removable ring (which magnets would eliminate the need for.) Wish this set was easier to remove from ring. 2. Magnetic Attraction: Would love to see a set like this one that magnetically sticks to one another to keep them together. Saw another brand on amazon that is magnetic, but reviews said the magnet inset falls out! I find separate spoons so much easier to use as I find all-on-ring design cumbersome and I invariably get them all dirty so need to wash all instead of one or two, etc...Would love for them to stay spooning in storage eliminating the hunt...even keeping them all in a cup rather than a drawer it takes time to find The One. Embedded magnets would mean no more searching for size needed for that recipe. 3. Level handle/spoon so you can sweep the ingredient flat (as these have.) 4. Spoons stand on counter without tipping over or spilling contents (as these do.) 5. Fits in spice jars. Narrow enough bowl to get in and fill up. (all but tablespoon fits, but that size in other sets don't fit inside jars either, unless your spices are in wide-mouth decorative jars.) 6. Very easy to read at a glance markings (no time wasted holding them up to the light to read markings; no eye strain.)- This set could be improved a bit in this department. 7. Heavy, high quality stainless steel: no food interaction, no staining, easy washing, attractive (as these are.) Over all, this is a very nice set, sturdy enough to be handed down to the next generation provided the engraved markings don't wear down with use...which, of course, will depend on how much use they see in your kitchen and whether you hand-wash or throw these in the dishwasher.)

If you need some measuring spoons these are the ones to get. They are designed to fit inside the bottle openings and they do except for the biggest one. Very well made. Will last many years.

Wirklich endlich einmal hochwertige Messlöffel. Keine scharfen Kanten, optisch sehr schön, messtechnisch genau und durch den gebogenen Griff kann man sie auch gefüllt abstellen. Das ist etwas "für das Leben und zum Vererben". Ich bin ja optimistisch, hoffe, dass das Set nicht irgendwann Rost ansetzt.

I've owned many sets of measuring spoons in my 60 years' existence. The past sets have had round(ed) spoons, rather than these oval ones. Two years ago, I bought a set of oval-shaped spoons of some sort of metal that had different coloured silicone handles. In theory, that set is great because I learned to recognize that the yellow-handled is the 1 Tablespoon, as an example. In practice, though, these spoons are *not* great; after washing on the top rack of my dishwasher, the coloured silicone is starting to peel away from its metal base. There's no such issue or problem with these! With the exception of the 1 Tablespoon size, all of the other spoons in this set can fit into most spice/herb jars with no problems. Makes life much easier than trying to shake the product into a round-bowl spoon and having too much spice come flying out, either onto my countertop or directly into the pot of stew! These are also dishwasher safe, so cleaning them is easy. I can't recommend these measuring spoons enough!
