Kaspersky PURE Total Security 3.0 - 3 PCs/1 Year

Don't even think about it
Before I review this Kaspersky product I would like to say that I had an extrordinarily good experience with lotsolots! I submitted a claim to them about this product and lotsolots even handled my claim via email on a Sunday! The Kaspersky Pure 3.0 Total Security 3pc/1 Year was absolute junk. It was DEFINITELY NOT THE FAULT of the seller. I explained the issue to lotsolots who offered a replacement or an exchange, and asked if I had contacted Kaspersky. I requested a return instead and they granted it without any hassle. I would definitely do business with lotsolots again.I'm an intermediate user of Windows software dating back to Windows 3, 95, ME, XP (sigh:), Vista (ugh), Windows 7. I do a rebuild about every year and a half or so to to purge the grime from the operating system.Regarding Kaspersky, I would never do business with them again. I attempted to migrate from a simple anti-virus program to their more inclusive security suite. I've purchased many Amazon products before, but have always done so after reading Amazon customer reviews. Wouldn't you know it, I counted on an anti-virus review from PCmag rather than read the comments on Amazon. That was a huge mistake I will never make again.Internet security packages that try to go beyond simple anti-virus seem to be plagued with problems associated with trying to do too many things. They are overly complicated, prone to installation issues, suspicious as to whether they actual do the job, and are not satisfactorily supported by their creators. There even seems to be intentional bill scamming going on by some. The experience with Kaspersky starts out wobbly. Though I dutifully removed/deactivated all security/defender software from my system(s) before installing, I had to begin the installation a couple of times to get it to "take." It is not very good at letting you know if it is actually doing something or where it's at during the process. One tends to lose confidence in the software very quickly on.I installed Kaspersky Pure 3.0 Total Security on two laptops. Once installed it seems awfully slow, and you get the idea that it might not be doing anything at all.On the Vista laptop I received the “blue screen of death” as soon as I signed on to Firefox on a DSL connection. The screen told me to call Microsoft because I had contracted a virus. What is an anti-virus software for if it allows such a thing to happen? Other than the wobbly feeling, I didn't seem to have any issues on Windows 7.So, I’m back to my simple anti-virus and now about to examine some separate ad blockers, etc. for some further protection.P.S. There is no way I am going to give any software my passwords and user codes so that I don’t have to “remember” them. If I can’t keep them to myself, I don’t deserve a computer, and I’d hate to see what some nefarious security suite hacker in Russia or wherever will do with them.

BUY HERE NOT FROM KASPERSKY!
Kaspersky is a brand that I trust as a PC technician I stand behind this product entirely! It is worth the price if you buy it here on amazon.
