Maxfield the Jamaican Easter Bun 42 Oz

After reading all the reviews I still decided to try this. Very Dry, no color and tastes stale. So disappointed. Don’t Buy! Still trying to find a better choice for Easter. I believe Royal Caribbean is the better choice. They don’t have their Easter Bun listed on Amazon and on their website it says sold out

I am grossly disappointed with this purchase. It seems to have been made a year ago because there was nothing fresh about it. The first offense was a poor choice of packaging. The simplest paper packaging was used and this afforded no protection from being squished. Needless to say, the bun arrived crushed. To make things worse, the bun was void of moisture and would crumble when sliced. It was closer the consistency of the driest rock cake around. It lacked the softness and moisture befitting of a typical Easter bun. I do hope the seller does not make a habit of repeating these offenses.

I read the reviews, my opinion this bun was not dry, it was nice , I always like maxfield bun, not too much green and red things that is normally on Easter bun, this was just right, no cheese, butter or anything needed, just eat it like that, I will eat it with fry fish though yea.

First time trying this bun and it does taste good it's like home away from home. It's not too soft not too sweet

It was hard and dry, so I was very disappointed. A far cry from the standard I was used to back home.

This bun is very dry! I would say its expired but they put another date on it. Throwing away! Too pricey to worry about these things. Never buying again! **Update** The company sent me 2 new buns and a complimentary candy. Very delicious! Thanks for promptly sending me a new one.
