A Great Fragrance that can be Difficult to Find
This cologne stays fresh and does not develop a stale odor after several hours of wear. Although JHL is in the Aramis family of scents, JHL is more subtle, it has some pleasant notes of aromatic spices that are dissimilar enough from Aramis to distinguish JHL as an exclusive blend. In the past, this cologne was difficult to find in the USA. Purchase this while it is available.

I finaly found it, after so many years.
I was given this cologne for a present in 1988, and i remember then it was great. What a manly scent. I then used it up and asked where did it come from, and could not find it at the upscale dept. stores. I did not have WWW. then. I found it at amazon.com, and I was so happy I order it immediately. Again, very manly scent, just need a little it last a long time. Lots of complements. It makes you feel very good.

My favorite fragrance.
Estée Lauder some years ago formulated this special blend for her husband John Lauder - JHL. A 3.4 oz bottle of the eau de cologne is about $60.00 and well worth the money. a little spritz goes a long way and people often ask me what is that clean fresh smell you are wearing? JHL is now made by Aramis. Just a hint if you aren't sure your loved one souls like this, Amazon sells an Aramis gift set with 6 of Aramis' top fragrances. Great stocking stuffer or. Introductory gift. Get the JHL he is worth it!

Loved this cologne for years
I have bought this for my man for over 20 years. I love the musky smell and the fact that it isn’t available everywhere.

Used to be $60. at Dillard’s. But everything’s going up, oh yah, not wages!
I love the scent but people think it’s liquid gold! Go shopping for other scents! There are good ones out there, you have to look!

This bottle of JHL seems to be watered down. By the time my husband gets to the door to leave for work after putting it on the fragrance is gone. He has been wearing JHL since the 70's. JHL is a strong smell and usually last all day.

Fragrance is still good but not as good when Estee Lauder first came out with JHL.
Original fragrance of JHL was more of a cinnamon fragrance. When I would use the original fragrance of JHL I would always get alot of compliments. I still like it just not as much as the original.
