Let me start off by saying this is the THIRD different brand of RV door lock I have purchased. I bought a Bauer and Lippert brands and this is BY FAR the best RV door lock I have encountered. I had issues with the other two brands failing. Now all of that being said I have just installed this so the test of time is the next step. If I have an issue I will come back and update my review. He just turned off with the word wow! When I opened up the package, I was impressed by how Sterl built this door lock was. The only plastic I think that is on it is the switch to program it and the battery cover. So I’m going to guess this is going to be very very durable. Obviously the internal electronics are typically what fails on these things so time will tell. This was very, very easy to install and to customize the programming. The other two companies could take some serious lessons from this company. I have never had a lock. Been this easy to set up and install. It comes with two key fobs and they are definitely not cheap. You can feel that they are made of metal and they are heavy. Which I guess it’s going to be heavy in your pocket, but it is very well built. Once it is set up, it is extremely easy to use with either the key fob, the keypad or the provided key. They do provide two keys and I tested them and they work perfectly. I don’t say it very often, but I am elated by this purchase. I have had so much trouble with the keypad RV door locks and I am looking forward to this being the solution.

I love love this RV4 keyless lock for my RV! Not only does It look great but is very well made, all steel construction. No plastic parts to break. This lock with the key fobs was one of the easiest items I ever added to my RV, and if I can install it anyone can.as I am a 75 year old female. Programming was a breeze too. It speaks to you as you are setting the code with instructions. If you are on the fence as to whether to buy this lock you will not regret it. Great product by RV Lock!

So far, so good. I chose these locks to replace the factory locks on our camper. We chose the R4 because it’s all metal components where it matters. It was easy to program, however, resetting the code was a little different than the online instructional video. Holding down 8 and waiting for a beep never happened like the video shows. After I had followed the instructions explicitly, I finally realized you just depress the button on the back side of the indoor handle portion to set the new code. It was very easy to do once I figured this out. It’s doesn’t take a lot of know-how to install. I can’t speak to the longevity of the product, but it functions properly and is a nice upgrade to our camper.

Simple install, simple setup. Heavy duty, the fobs are a nice touch. 4 starts bc price vs value. It would be nice if they could incorporate BT and app to see real time security. Open/closed, custom door alarms, heck at a camera that captures like ring. Overall worthy upgrade pver stock

Installation was a breeze. Fit directly in the old handle’s existing opening. Being able to use the key or the remote has been great and it makes me feel like we’re very secure. I installed 2 of these in my travel trailer, one for the main entrance and one for the exterior bathroom entrance. I like that you can connect both locks to one key fob to lock or unlock both at the same time. These also seem very sturdy and durable. Definitely not going to be broken any time soon.

I love this lock! I am a 65 year old woman and I was able to install it myself. It was so easy. The fobs work great. It fit perfectly into the existing hole of the old lock. It is made well and should last a long time. I followed an RVlock Youtube video for installing it. There was one major problem with the video. The directions to put in your own code do not work. I scrolled down and looked at comments and someone had posted a solution. He said to use a pen and push the reset button on the inside of the handle for 5 seconds. A voice from the lock tells you what to do. Enter your new code and press the lock button. Repeat putting in your new code and pressing the lock button again. That's all there was to it. It works great! I later learned one important thing. If you pull on the handle when you're leaving, to make sure it is locked, make sure you push on the door to make it completely closed before trying to open it again with the code or the fob. It won't open if it is not pushed completely tight.

Really like it so far. Quality construction and only took a few minutes to install. Programming the remotes was really simple also.

Bought this when we went seasonal, just in case campground staff needed into the camper when we weren't there. Sure enough, it happened. Saved us a 2-hour round trip. Simple to install, easy to set up. Works great, and the batteries last all season. Only complaint is that the remote buttons are a little too sensitive, and we sometimes accidentally lock the door with the keys in our pockets.

This rv lock is amazing! I get one for 180$ , and can’t compare them. It’s like you get Rolex , or drive BMW after Honda . Install in 10 minutes. One thing….. been surprise…. Be ready- when remove small sticker from the battery.- It Start Talking! You feel you get Good stuff, . Want to thanks Seller. I've been looking at these for years for our 5th wheel. Glad I finally got one. It's over-priced, but it's built very well and has some features that others dont, such as the backlit numbers, and 2 remote fobs. Very easy to install and easy to program and get up and running. It's so nice not having to carry the keys around, and nice to be able to give a code to someone if they should need it.

I love the convenience of the lock and the fobs are a super fun and useful addition to the product. Looks great on my camper and is solid material! Easy and fast installation with great instruction. Totally recommend the product! And no one can beet the warranty!

Well made. Easy to install as well as program. I bought this unit to replace a well reviewed and cheaper lock that fell apart. No regrets on the extra money spent as I received a much better lock. This has a better quality touch pad membrane and a heavier aluminum body than other locks that I have looked at. The two remotes are easy to program and use.
